| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| Makoto looks like five to ten times better with her hair open like that. Also, that guy, I knew he was a Makoto-fan the moment I saw him. And it shows again how 0048 ARE the good ones. Personally, I wouldn't have settled for a reactor shutdown. MELTdown is the way to go (it also makes escaping more epic) |

| Anything better than Chieri centered episode? Yeah, Makoto centered episode! Now, she finally climbed to my no. 1 favourite character next to Chieiri. Her "failing" is something I can really empathise with so, I completely understand why that guy would vote for her. XD Makoto was really awesomely failing this episode. Gotta love her. Also, I feel like the anime had gotten even darker with this episode. We learnt, that DES's attacks were actually weak and there's some illegal betting involved. Not to mention Chieri's dad has some plans with Kiraras. I think there should be third season. Not only because the more the better but because I feel like we're either gonna get time skip or there won't be enough time to finish every bit of the story. Why? Well, Nagisa has to become Acchan (or however it is spelled) and center nova but I doubt that will happen so fast without a time skip considering she didn't even rank. Though, Chieri's success does show the fact that popularity can raise literally over night. Still, I would feel bad if Yuuko got de-crowned so fast. Also we need to finish Chieri's father's story and explanation of the connection of Kiraras and Center Novae disappearance. |

| There was crappy animation here and there, but the ending more than made up for it. Good thing they were in low gravity, otherwise Makoto's leg would've just ripped off. ;) I still don't know who my favorite understudy is, but Makoto is definitely in the running xD |

| I am intrigued by the idea of showing the decadent side of the anti-idol elite of gambling on the fierce and violent battle between DES and 0048. I can imagine quite a number of those elite also secretly enjoy the singing and music by 0048 which goes to how hypocritical they are in denying the common citizens the fun of idol music. And Makoto will go on to inherit the position of Sasshi. Her failure to summon the courage to do the bungee jump cannot be more clear a sign. |

The real-life Sasshi in AKB48 shot to fame when she singularly failed to do the bungee jump in a variety show. And we are seeing how Makoto got her moment for fame: nothing other than a bungee jump!I'm curious. Why did you say Sasshi? I thought Orine will be one because that's her goal? |

(aka Chieri and Nagisa); I'm just speculating now but there is a high chance that this could happen seeing as how the direction of the story is going right now. Even though i kinda want orine to achieve her goal as Sasshi, I agree to say makoto is way more suited, and it'd be a nice little bit of drama between makoto and orine going on too, It'd be quite a huge development between them both dealing with it. |
| YEAHH! Go Makoto! I am so glad she finally got an episode where it was her turn to shine. And her cuteness really goes up another level when she has that determined look on her face. Plus she looked really nice with her hair down. Loved watching the moment that Makoto had at the end. Watching the girls try to act like guys and adding random words like dude at the end of their sentences was hilarious lol. |

| Yeah I have already seen the preview. I have no idea what Yuuko were talking about, but for a moment I thought she were talking about Nagisa about that she is not shine enough like 13th Aachan but the quite obviously she won't do that yet. I never have think much about Makoto, but she is so cute with her hair down and her kirara shine for the first time. |

| This was such a lovely episode! Makoto was great, it was lovely to see her character get developed and to see her meet a fan who voted for her. The plot is getting pretty interesting, I don't feel like it'll be wrapped up in the rest of the episodes so I'd welcome a third season. |

| (rewatching) Makoto looks really cute with her hair down. That bungee! Sonata also did well on this mission... she wasn't just playing around like a little kid. Shows she knows when to be serious.
