| Awesome episode. Erza's fight against those 100 monsters was only 1 page long in the manga. I'm glad that the producers showed more of the fight in the anime. The fight in the manga was not that fullfilling. She could've looked more beaten up after she won though. I can't wait for the next ep. Laxus is a badass and I think his fight is going to look awesome animated. The new OP isn't that good imo. I liked to previous one more. The new ED is nice though. |

| Wow, I'm glad I finally caught up to all the episodes after that horrible filler arc. This was a great episode and reminds me of why I again like Fairy Tail so much. It might be a stereotypical shounen anime, the one that I normally can't stand, but this just keeps entertaining and makes marathoning so easy. Haha, Mavis to the rescue.. I suppose everyone will again fear Fairy Tail like they used to :p And for a moment I had hoped that Yukiko would join FT, but that would probably too soon. Does she ever by the way? |
| Erza is beast!!!!!!!!!! and Cana, loved this episode!! I like the new OP it's decent, the previous one I hated it felt so dull, FT needs better OPs. Can't wait fo next week, LAXUS VS RAVENTAIL!!! |

| Amazing Episode, everything I hoped for and more :P. Interesting though. I have been trying to make a rough ladder of strength in Fairy Tail, but it is hard. I am still wondering if Elza is any stronger than she was 7 years ago, someone in this ep (already forgot who) said her swordsmanship had improved, but I am still unsure as to whether she got a boost like the others, as Lucy said she thought Elza already had her second magic container thing, which if true means she didn't gain any power from it and is more or less the same as 7 years ago as she has had no training what so ever. But then maybe she did get the boost and wasn't affected (all the others pretty much collapsed after getting the boost) because she is Elza xD. Then there is the power level thing in this episode. First Elza beat 100 monsters, the s class monster being said to be a challenge for a member of the top 10 wizards, the power of the monster was then tripled due to fact it was the last monster, and she beat it with ease despite using a lot of her magical energy. Meaning logically Elza is easily on par with the top 10 wizards (or at least some of them as they do range a lot of power). But then the others tested their power levels, Jura got about 8000, which Makarov says would make him about as strong as Gildartz. It was also stated before that Jura was the weakest of the 10 top wizards (unless this changed in the 7 years). Then Cana beats them all with 9999, but only because of the fairy magic. So Elza has a power that could rival the top 10 wizards but Jura who is the weakest is on par with Gildartz who has always been said to be far stronger than any other Fairy Tail Wizard. But then I suppose the s class monster was exaggerated a bit. Anyhow..... The Episode was epic, Elza was amazing and Cana getting the 9999 was funny too. The new opening looks cool and it seems Natsu and Gajeel will be fighting the other dragon slayers as I expected, although I want to see Laxus do something too :P. |

Love the fact that Erza kind of did a "fuck you guys, I'm killin' ALL da monsters" but I was kind of hoping that they'd just give the other contestants 0 points after Erza made such a brazen move. Also, it was great that Cana got second using Fairy Glitter, but it sucks that Mavis says it was a one time deal =[ |

| I liked Pandemonium better in the manga, far more epic and it made more sense. I liked seeing MPF animated though. |

I will make it clearer a little bit: all the monsters including the S-class one are completely featless in the Manga, since Erza defeats all of them in only one panel, this makes the statement about the S-class monster being able to challenge a WS become extremely hard to qualify, thus it's mostly a hype to make the battle sound more epic. Then the monster having its power tripled also doesn't exist in the Manga, so don't count it in. The Anime team probably really loves Erza (because of her popularity) to decide to give her as much hype as possible like that. Ahh I thought it would be something like that, the whole strength of the monsters were just over hyped. I don't think Elza is far off a top 10 wizard strength level but not quite there. then again I should never try to use what is said as logic for characters strength. When Juvia first thought against Fairy Tail she was a s-class wizard, and there was that whole acr about who was the strongest in Fairy Tail, then like two arcs later Gildartz pop up and everyone says he is their strongest. It was a fail on anime's part to not include Gildarts during Mystogan-Laxus dialogue but he was indeed mentioned and acknowledged as FT's strongest mage in the manga. Also about your other question, I'm fairly sure that the strength of the S-class monster is really all just hype. Matou-kun did say a Wizard Saint can't be guaranteed to defeat it but it was just an estimation of strength. Who's to say Jura can't do the same? His abilities are more AoE oriented than Erza' so he's more suited for a 1v100 battle. Erza however is indeed Wizard Saint level or at least very close, during one of the scenes in Tower of Heaven she was referenced as being someone of that caliber. Of course we don't know who is stronger than her or Jura because they'll never pit on 1v1. This show really just likes hyping, Natsu did beat Laxus and Jellal previously. Speaking of Fairy Tail hyping characters... |

I suppose they didn't want to spoil it and have him a surprise later? but the first impression it gave me was that they changed the story and made up Gildartz afterwards. Anyhow thank you, I guess it is mostly hype, I do have a vague idea where most of the characters stand. Natsu just beats everyone, usually this is justified with him getting some special boost that like triples his power though xD, but it is always hyped up. |

| This was an awesome episode. I can't even put it into words. Cana did awesome as well! I wasn't expecting her to use a spell like that but I'm glad she mastered it a bit. I love Mavis! She gives no fucks. |

| The word's overused but very apt for her - epic. Often I've felt like after great build up Fairy Tail blows the payoff, but never with Erza. An awesome character that always shines and never disappoints. I don't read the manga but if originally the battle was only one panel I have to give the staff kudos, it was a very engaging and rousing battle. |
| Great episode Erza is a beast :3,and Cana broke the MPF,she truly is the doughter of Gildarts.The next fight is Laxus vs Alexei wonder what kind of magic does Alexei uses. |
