Oh, op, you have no idea, I warned everyone last season, because in the beginning there were so many Yozora fans. So yes, obviously you're not the only one with that opinion. In fact, I'll argue many Sena supporters have that opinion

Rika is my second favorite to Sena. Rika makes every scene hilarious! :) The series wouldnt be so funny without her!

Not the reason why I like her, but okay.

Oh, I am annoyed with Sena on some things, but no where near the level of Yozora has caused me. Sena is extremely unrealistic, but whatever

only Kobato and Yukimura are the ones that never bothered me

I don't hate her, in fact she's my favorite among all the female members of Rinjinbu.

Try to learn about her more. Just by watching the first episode of season 1, you should know by then that Yozora had hard time making friends. How much more about making male friends?

And about her personality, the one she usually shows on public, or the cruel and selfish side, well she's been like that ever since. Like Sena said in an episode, "Yozora is Yozora. She will not change". Not the exact words, but I'm sure she said that.

Anyway, without her, this anime would not be comedy, but romance. There would be no Rinjinbu, but a story about a girl and a boy bla bla.

i dislike sena, and i love Yozora.
Sena is overrated and the producer just focusing the story about her. it makes me irritated.

yozora is cute when she's blushing :3 i ship Yozora x Kodaka. and i love her troll's attitude, it's so hilarious than watching the childness like sena.

If someone had described yozora and sena to me before I started the series I hands down would have favored yozora. But somehow in execution I just find sena cuter and more likable. Despite Sena's attitude there's a sincerity about her character (mostly in that she couldn't lie to save her life) and yozora seems, well, conniving. Also, I could go down a laundry list of all the reasons sena would be a great girl for kodaka (their fathers are close friends, she loves his little sister, despite lack of common sense she's pretty damn smart) and she is most definitely a lot more honest to herself about her feelings for him than yozora. But I think the most emphatic point is that it's blatantly obvious that sena deep down loves yozora, however yozora has to much pride and insecurity for "meat" to have any place in her heart.

I would actually argue that, the other girls including
Rika - super genius but is a fujoshi
Kobato - blond little sister that is the cutest most moe thing ever next to erio
Maria - teacher at age of 10, but is stil lretarded and happy only b/c of food
Yukimura - most unrealistic, and even more so Is everyone else the show accepted her as a boy

Yeah, Pretty much no one is a believable character in the series, mainly because no one really has a much of a backstory so far.

But hey, this show was supposed to go to be about social outcast so being strange is natural.

So yeah those are attacking Sena because she's unrealistic really is kind of missing that this is an Anime of strange girls that are social outcasts

But im not, i know yozora is an outcast, but he refuses to develop and tries to Block development.
She's also a bitch, for those reasons she's the most irritating character

Personally, I find them both to be pretty unlikeable characters. Sena is annoying and so much of a pushover, and Yozora can be such a witch sometimes.

I still prefer Yozora though. She has her genuine moments of likeability.

Biggest Reason for me:

Yozora hinders the progress of development. She constantly stops other heroines from advancing their development.

And worst of all, they're already all friends. Her remark in season one "its not like anyone in the club has friends" or something like that made me absolutely furious. Not only is she unwilling to change and distants herself, but she also does that to everyone around her, when everyone's obviously having fun

her bullying Sena is not AS MUCH of a problem really, but it still pisses off Sena fans, I think. Sometimes she goes over the line of comedy, and is just cruelty.

Oh, her attitude to Kodaka, and her reason for not telling him that she is Sora earlier pissed me off also. I thought she was finally going to progress as a character when she revealed her identity. But what? NOOOU! She just wanted to say that, and completely wasted the impact of revealing it.

And she does 2 major things that pisses me off later on in the novels, while I was expecting for her character to become more likable.

that's why

The fact that the group are oblivious to the fact they are friends it is not exactly her fault , Kodaka no matter which way you look at it the most normal one doesn't realize it so the others wouldn't too , i think she doesn't care if the group has fun or not ( pool ep festival etc ) is because she only cares about kodaka and doesn't care if she or the others make friends or not since it was supposed to be her and kodaka only.

Yes thats true , im a sena fan but doesn't really piss me off because i think sena consider this as having female friend/rival

Yea that was a disappointment to me also i thought finally something would happen but thier relationship just frozed like nothing happened , i think thats because yozora doesn't want to take the first step she want kodaka to do all the work thats why she didn't talk to him first , didn't reveal she was sora , didn't let him call her sora because when she asked him how he felt when he knew she was sora he replied " i was mostly suprised" while she was in joy so it was a letdown for her and froze thier relationship like nothing happend still waiting for him to do all the work.
Well i guess those are enough reasons for other people to hate her but i just can't maybe it the VA or the fact that i just like this show too much to hate any character on it :) .

Heh. This show has pretty much turned into a "all girls in the show aiming for the boy"

group not realizing was also egged on by Yozora, which is really apparent that she doesn't want them to get very close.

Everyone? Half the cast? Are we watching the same anime here?

The only one who is constantly targeted by Yozora is Sena. No other cast member gets that much abuse from her, if at all .

She mainly just tortures Sena, that's true.

But I think it's also for forcing Yukimura dress as a maid and act as a maid as well?

And there was this one time when she forced everyone to dress in a swimsuit in the clubroom because she wasn't able to wear hers when they visited the pool.

she abused Maria

Sena appears forthright which is her strength (and the primary reason she's setting more flags). However if you consider the reason of her forthrightness, it is not in rejection of being untruthful, but simply because she has no awareness of others, nor self-doubt. Sena, when she wants something, will just do it - whether it calling Kodaka at middle of the night, trying to abduct Kobato, dismiss her female classmates or provoke Yozora. There's no consideration of feelings of the other people (whereas, Kodaka thinks too much). She doesn't have the same link to other club members aside from Yozora/Kodaka/Koabato because she is mostly indifferent to Yukimura/Rika/Maria/her classmates/her male servants.

Perhaps she's NOT selfish because selfish people are at least aware of the other side of the coin, but consciously makes the decision prioritizing own gain. Sena is not even aware, let alone to choose. The outcome is the same though - if someone is never thinking about what other's might feel, all they really know, and driven by how themselves feel.

An example of Sena's obnoxiousness would be to publicly asking for a spoiler in a forum (even with a spoiler tag) rather than say using private messages. Obnoxious characters tend to have obnoxious fans, because the said obnoxiousness of the character is not apparent.

Funny Yozora still 'abuses' Maria - I thought the show is already showing how Yozora's dealing with Maria in a different light - given the last episode of season 1, Kate's revelation and the interveation at the lunch table in ep4. If Sena is a parent, she'd be a pamperer, whereas Yozora would be a more interventionist. (and that, to some people, is abuse :D). On a side note, the new Connect chapters further explored Yozora's view point - personally I think it went too far - it made Yozora too nice, too out of character.

I think he was trying to describe himself. :)

obnoxious
–adjective
1. highly objectionable or offensive; odious: obnoxious behavior.
2. annoying or objectionable due to being a showoff or attracting undue attention to oneself: an obnoxious little brat.

Oh my god yes! I love Sena. She's perfect for Kodaka! Yozora is manipulative, I give you that. I normally like manipulative types like Irisu from Hyouka, or Izaya from Durarara, or Light from Death Note. Ok, mostly it's guys xD but yeah, theres nothing lovable about Yozora at all. Especially when she gets abrupt and screams like a psycho, ordering people around and taunting/teasing everyone in the group. :-O it would be better if she is gone... i wish there was a different kind of tsun tsun around... and even if she does like him... the way she's acting is not cute at all and it's not natural, I know cause I'm a girl... as a girl you usually don't let things like this show on the surface ;_;

Well, there's nothing natural about the other girls too. I think Sena's more unnatural than Yozora (just look at her bedroom)

But I think Sena's obsession with Yozora does mean that she indeed cares for her very much, under all that layers of "pride".

She sees everyone else as a threat and only is interested in being reunited with Kodaka is the simplest way to look at her behavior due to having an "air friend" for a majority of her young life. A more in depth look would be that she does not know how to respond to a female rival, or rivals if you want to look at everyone, and does so in a hostile manor due to lack of knowing a better emotion as well to add in humor. All and all, every girl has their perks outside of their bust size.

Why people annoyed at Yozora is because they expect her character to fits a generic tsundere cliche, but all she does is tsun-tsun to everyone. I somehow feels that she is antagonizing herself to maintain distance with everyone, and not to mention to keep her secret past with Kodaka.
Even though she does harm her friends (verbally or psychologically) but she never wants anyone to leave, and even most of the events of the club are actually planned by her. She was actually the one keeping the pack together, and preventing anyone from making advance toward Kodaka.

Read yozora character page and the spoiler in it to see her real motives because you seem to have a wrong image of her.

This is called Chinese whispers. How about you go read the LN translations rather than taking in 2nd hand information? I've mentioned how the character description from wikipedia and here has a healthy dose of e-opinion inserted. If anything Yozora's character is the most enigmatic out of the lot. Which is why she's rather terriable just like the rest but also interesting. Hint: Yozora's idea of a friend is not your normal friend.

Whereas, Sena has not changed much since Vol 4 of the novel - I roll my eyes whenever I hear about Sena as a character gets developed. She does get plot developments but there hasn't been any new relevations about her 'good' side aside from what we already knew in the first couple volumes.

Huh? I am pretty sure KODAKA is the only reason why everyone's in the club.

Nonononono.

still liking Sena better, yozora has changed, yes. She has gotten more pathetic

Yozora is just forcing her dreams about friendship upon Kodaka. She is scaring him.

You'll see... a friendship is a relationship between at least two people. Both partners accept each other for being themselves. If you force someone to be a complete different person - just like in your dreams - you are scaring the shit out of that person.

And this is exactly what Yozora does to Kodaka. She is not thinking about him, she just thinks about her childhood friendship. But they are not friends anymore.

Kodaka wants a normal friend who accepts him for being himself, and not for being an illusion of a friend. Kodaka is not like that person in Yozora's dream.

I think Yozora's idea of friend is like " Fulfilled life" (リアル充)

Its a bit hard to explain, but I think that everyone is here because of Yozora.
I think Kate did explain why Maria stick with Kodaka and the club.I think the explanation also applies to everyone inside the club as well.
The Club seem more "lively" when Yozora is in charge.

She sees everyone else as a threat and only is interested in being reunited with Kodaka is the simplest way to look at her behavior due to having an "air friend" for a majority of her young life.

She's just a stupid cunt, the way I look at it. She had the perfect chance to "reunite" with Kodaka in the prequel, and she blew it.

I'm under the assumption that very few expect her to be something that she isn't, has never been or showed any potential in being.

I don't quite understand your point. Why would everyone want to stick with Yozora who just mentally abuses them? Anyway, someone already listed the reasons why everyone joined the club in the first place. Here is the list.

My opinion about Yozora hasn't changed a bit. If she can show me a different side in this week's episode.. then maybe.

Kodaka - just got dragged along
Yozora - created the club to reunited with Kodaka
Sena - to hid from followers
Yukimara - to become Kodaka's underling
Maria - is the adviser (if i remember correctly)
Rika - only one that join to get friends

Everyone? Half the cast? Are we watching the same anime here?

The only one who is constantly targeted by Yozora is Sena. No other cast member gets that much abuse from her, if at all .

I'm pretty sure she regularly screws with the nun girl, and back when she thought Yukimura was a guy she manipulated him into wearing a maid outfit.

A0968 is right , screwing with Maria ? she just made her the mod for the club how is that abuse(and kate feel like yozora did maria a favour) , yukimura was just delusional none of the club members feel being abused from yozora except for the obvious Sena.

I never truly cared for Yozora's behaviour before. I mean she is at some point essential to the plot. But when she got really pissed by the end of episode 4. I just couldn't take it anymore, because it was pointed at Yukimura for being a ´girl´. Yukimura who is always so clueless and helpless and who always followed her orders.... I can't stand Yozora for bullying someone like that.

Like i said she didn't bully anyone besides Sena , her anger at the end of the episode 4 was at her self she was furstated yet another thing appeared that can get of the way of her and kodaka becoming friends, lover etc.
if you gonna hate on her hate on something worth it or actually her fault...
and yozora is not gonna suddenly start bullying yukimura if that what are you implying.

But don't you think that voicing out one's disapproval about another being is a form of bullying/abuse in a psychological level? Yukimura dresses as a maid, serves as a maid because she was manipulated by Yozora.. and after all that's been done, Yozora is still pissed because she is not happy with the end result. How selfish is that? Selfish to Yukimura who has just found out she's actually female and been living like a male. But nooo, Yozora has to go and think about herself and her chances with Kodaka first of course.

She's frustrated that's true. But she should've kept her outbursts to herself.

she didn't have an outburst she was pissed and angry but it is not like she shouted it in to everyone face everyone heard her and didn't exactly understand why she was pissed and didn't think much of it especially yukimura, i never said she wasn't selfish i agree 100% about the fact she is selfish .
A cruel and selfish black-haired girl who says she understands and respects bullying but resents being called a bully herself

to be honest it didn't take yozora an effort because yukimura is an exteremly naive and delusional person to think she was a male in the first place if anything yozora helped her even if it wasn't yozora intention.
yozora manipulated yukimura but she didn't bully her
Bullying is the use of force or coercion to abuse or intimidate others. The behavior can be habitual and involve an imbalance of social or physical power. It can include verbal harassment or threat, physical assault or coercion and may be directed repeatedly towards particular victims

thats fits what yozora does to sena not what yozora did to yukimura.
