Dat training and mask. I liked Caesar's determination this episode. Anyways, pretty intense and I enjoyed watching the training. Coming through! Nice OST as well especially during Jojo's scenes. | Messina and Loggins!? Wow didn't think Araki would pull those country artists out of his bag of tricks I really enjoyed this episode but I wish this show had a bigger budget reserved for animation I felt like was watching manga the creators in Bakuman renact at times but David Production is doing the best with what they have. Really creative to just bore through all that training during the credits sequence! 1 episode for training in a shonen? I'll take it Lisa Lisa is awesome by the way, when she cut Jojo's clothes during he first attempt to cheat his way up the pillar I knew right there she was gonna be cool as fuck(also when she smacked Jojo with the oar X D) |

| Lisa Lisa made my day. In the end, Jojo and Caesar have daily fun with two overmuscolar trainers. This manlyness was too much even for me. Great episode, I didn't get bored like it happens with training episodes of other anime. |

| Lisa Lisa is more awesome than I expected. Much respect to her. I love these trials but if anything, the days in this episode went too quickly at the end. A week until the fight already? I expected more time spent on training and not just a montage at the end. But next week look like an exciting episode as well so I can't complain. |

Not to ask for spoilers, but I don't suppose we're going to get any explanation why Lisa Lisa and crew aren't just focusing on beating the pillar men themselves? More prophecies or just plot convenience? |

Pillar Men aren't that easy to beat, so she wants to get 2 more strong fighters in her team. |

The only plot device (outside of ripple conducting matter) is the Red Stone of Aja (Asia) that has the ability to perfect the pillar men in conjunction with the Stone Masks which you see the mask with the hole when they awoken. No prophesies, only really a destiny. The Stone Mask and the Joestar bloodline are intertwined. |

| This part of the manga was handled wonderfully. No complaints from me, aside from a spot or two where the low budget was a bit distracting. |

| definitely found a new favourite character in lisa lisa. she's already such a calming influence on the show - she's the exact opposite to all these melodramatic, constantly posing men and i love her for it. (i love the melodramatic, constantly posing men as well but it's nice to have a different character type thrown into the mix). |
