I just caught up with the manga and all i can say is WOW. For a manga that defies the laws of physics and has some things that really don't make sense (like the pinnicle thingy) it still manages to keep me excited. For those who haven't caught up yet they are in the 4th match of the semis

I read the first chapter, but I didn't really get into it because at the time I really really hated tennis (I don't anymore, but that's not the point).

I read it, but I'm not caught up. I'm probably 5 or 6 chapters behind right now. (3rd match of semi's)

It's on Toonami?

This is what I get for not having cable.

Eh, I lost interest in Prince of Tennis manga once I saw that match with the doppelganger thing. Sorry, that goes up with the changing history thing in Yakitate. I know the audience is supposed to have that suspension of disbelief thing, but this is just ridiculous.

I first started reading the manga back when Shonen Jump first introduced it here in the states, then I dropped it for a while, and got back into it a around the same time the dub appeared on Toonami.

To date, I'm caught up with the American/English release of the manga (unless volume twenty-one came out when I wasn't looking).

I find I'm always looking forward to the next volume these days. Once I got past the first few chapters, it quickly rose to the top of my favorites list.

I was never into sports manga before but for all its ridiculous moves and techniques, I find it really engaging for some reason. Especially their non-tennis mini stories; simply hilarious. Read it till the latest chapter and the anime is still slowly following the manga.
