| Arcriatrix, you are forgetting all the shows like Power Rangers, Voltron, et al where they have to dock up to reach their full potential or even more than the sum of their parts. Where they need to forum the Blazing Sword or 200% powered up Naked Impact hammer to defeat their enemy. Kuroki / Homura who is Alone powering it up with her arrow was a unique twist. Not sure I've quite seen that before. Having to Dock to defeat Alone is so obvious it is funny but that's what makes this show, you know the exaggerated ridiculous transformation is coming but you love it anyways. |

| I must say I have had some difficulties these two episodes, I think this show is too cheesy and happy go lucky for me. But gonna try and see if I can survive past ep 4, or if I have to surrender. (ﾉ_ _)ﾉ |

| Ah those transformation scenes, that 'docking' and those exhaust breasts. It's a barrage of fan-service. Normally I don't have a problem with this but the directors of Strike Witches just seem to focus too much on getting close-ups of panties that it interrupts my enjoyment of other parts of the show. I guess this is to be expected from them but it seems like they took it one step further in Vividred. Aoi's docking transformation was pretty cool, she looked more mature. Not sure why Akane was absorbed to become part of the Blue, shouldn't it be the other way round? Disappointed in the enemies so far, they're too similar to the Neuroi, right down their regenerative powers. |

| Everything about this show screams ridiculous. Tomato? Ridiculous. Talking while everyone dies? Ridiculous. Dockingu with kissing as a requirement? Ridiculous. No pants? Ridiculous. "What happened to the school?" *Camera zooms out to huge trench* Ridiculous. This is Gurren Lagaan + Power Rangers + a million other parodies. Yeah, maybe it could pull drama out of nowhere and we'd never suspect a thing, but until then this is just a ridiculous anime and I love it. The fact that the animation is excellent helps too. |

| Still a fairly average and rather generic anime so far, on the bright side this episode was an improvement over episode 1 :) |
| (rewatching) Aoi got hit by a jet! She's just up there flying in the sky talking to Akane... then BAM! Hit by a jet! I love the comedy in this anime. All that Eva-level destruction from that Alone... awesome! If anyone is wondering, Vividblue transformation is uncensored on the BD. |

| Oh god, I completely misunderstood the part where the grandpa was explaining why they couldn't dock, and thought he was saying that it is necessary for one of them to reject the dock in order for it to work...that would make things quite interesting; yuri-rape fusion |

| lol, well, Aoi's reaction after setting down the crashing jet was pretty funny. The soldiers' reaction to her apology was as well. Hmm, what I thought last episode: oh that blue girl wears normal panties instead of gym shorts / bloomers all day every day. She's definitely the "normal girl" (girly girl) character. What I thought this episode: I had this anime pegged from the first 60 seconds. Well, some of it wasn't too bad, they sure didn't seem that into it though, considering what was going on... some of the art style is definitely Nanoha-esq, which I can appreciate. The enemies in this also seem to be about as generic as Strike Witches' bad guys. Generic machine/monsters that rapidly heal and shoot lasers. Pretty much the same thing. Also... why is the animation so good, but the CGI so bad? they sorta cancel out... Also kind of an lol, but more of a just "why?" ... you can hear a very clear, distinct "oh my God" in English when she pulls out her hammer and deflects that shot. |

| I love those cute yuri kisses. ^^ The bond between Akane and Aoi is really heartwarming. A mysterious girl powered-up the Alone by shooting it with a glowing arrow. Cool. "I hate tomatoes!" I'm sure Aoi wouldn't like to be friends with Kyouko Toshino, haha. Nice looking fusion transformation. |

But they just made it about tomatoes, lol.. ;P Well, fair enough.. ;P I mean, it is a lie still, and worrying that you lied and can be not friends anymore is totally understandable.. Hm?.. So this girl powers Alons?.. So she wants energy generating station to be destroyed for some reason?.. Why?.. Well, it can be thousand reasons.. From preventing some technology caused problem later..
