SO.
Iim quickly running out of good manga to read.
I love love love romance-comedies. i like watching anime but ive basically tried out every rom-com thats aired in the past 5 years, so basically im looking for manga(one thats not too old please). i really liked lovely complex and kaichou wa maid-sama as anime, and maid-sama is a great manga too
I love characters that arent too typical and storylines that arent cliche. the reason i asked for a manga thats better than the anime is because i might have seen and dropped an anime where the manga is actually very good. hatenkou yuugi for example is a super good manga but a horrible anime!!
Anyway, two favorite manga are (of course) dengeki daisy, and oresama teacher.

needs to be romance
needs to be funny
and kind of quirky/witty/atypical characters :D

please help me out good ppl of MAL!
thankyouverymuch <3

Mahou Sensei Negima. Its a mixture of romance, comedy and your typical action. Quite a fair amount of chapters too.

Ultra Maniac. It's a romantic comedy that I feel is incredibly underrated. The anime is good too, but at least in my opinion the manga is better. However, the characters "seem" typical at first; as you get further into the storyline(about chapter 5 if reading the manga), it is revealed that they aren't as typical as they seem.

The other series I'd suggest is Karin. I noticed you dropped the anime, but I've heard the manga is better.

I can guarantee the manga is better than that mediocre anime.

Skip Beat! is another one, simply because the anime ends on a cliffhanger early into the manga's storyline, and there probably won't be a season to finish it up.

I'll have to third this. It was definitely far superior in manga format.
