THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

New OP is cool and new ED is nice.

The reason behind the timid girl's trauma... and with that old man's weak body?

Hmm, I liked the previous OP song better but the new one fits also imo.

Anyways, another chill episode. I'm guessing this is all the calm before the storm hits so pretty excited for what's to come. Oh and I found Junna's faces and expressions kinda cute this episode.

Meh, that bored me. I was expecting more development, plotwise.

I like the new ED.

How does Jun survive a 500 ton robot crushing her

Series finally return and focuses on Jun's robot dilemma and Doc's reason for not wanting to help the robots club. Glad to see Jun and Doc finally made up with each other. That Yoshiro robot is seriously huge though, how the hell did Jun survive that accident when she was little? :S

Oh man, I really like the new opening especially the beginning. Yeahhhhhhhh! The ED is really good too, gotta love Kanako Ito's voice. :D

Lovely episode! This anime gets so much less love even though it is so nice.

Very good OP and absolutely beautiful ED. What more, a lighthearted episode that will melt any ice no matter how cold it is!

So Jun is now getting used to around robots! I felt so bad for Doc when he went down to his knees. Poor old man regretted for the 11 long years! :(

Fitting they got Kanako Ito for the R;N ending since she's already worked with the franchise already. Her song really puts my heart at ease : )

As for the ep itself I don't have much to say on it except was a little too melodramatic for my preferences X D Can't wait to see how this half of the season turns out. Hopefully they put the character development to use

LOL. Gunvarrel got severely downvoted after the last episode. I'm just imagining the flame wars going on in that World Line's version of MAL.

Some nice drama in this episode.

Me too, I prefer the previous OP, but I like this ED!

I shed a tear, it's unbelievable how I can cry over little thing people don't care and don't cry when the whole population would.

I somehow feel that 11 episodes are not enough :S But it would be good if we get many intense episodes! :D Can't wait to see the scenes in the trailer!

I expected some action after the ending of the last episode, but character development is fine too, i guess. I feel like this should've taken place on the first half, i don't know...

Poor Jun & Doc, both feeling guilty for so long :(

Same here.

EDIT: And who's that person with the long blonde hair on the OP? Frau's mother?

I think some of y'all are setting the bar way too high. As for me, I'm currently enjoying this watch from a slice of life standpoint, I'm not bored to be honest as I'm finding the characters worth the watch rather than waiting for what happened in the PV trailer to happen so quick in this recent episode.

Just this once, I'll fulfill whatever your wish is.

Yeah, I only found it weird that after everything that happened last episode, there was only that small scene with Kai remembering "the rest" of the phone call. The episode itself wasn't bad (it was quite good, actually), but I felt like it was not the right time for it. Unless there's something really important in this episode that'll be used on the next one (like the robots being brought back to life, for example).

I could understand that sentiment.
Perhaps though, while I myself am looking forward to our drama-rama second half to commence after watching episode 11, I found some satisfaction now knowing why Jun was so hesitant and shy about the Robotics Club. Don't mind some character development, even if it's minor; at least some questions are getting answered.

Yes, that development was kinda necessary. I hope she'll have more IMPACTO!!, now. =P

I think this was a case of reverse trolling. They put together this exciting trailer for the second half and then took a hard left and gave us a sad stand alone character development episode. I won't be surprised if things really pick up next week, but like Tavor, something about this show just clicks with me and I've been enjoying it from a SOL angle as well.

Dem characters man. Over the past weeks waiting for a new episode, I was like, "I need to see more of Aki with her over optimistic attitude T_T"
But yeah, some viewers were probably feeling let down.

Oh nice new OP and ED. A light to Jun's story is welcoming. I think all club member's backstories are shown so far. The anemone incident is what I am still curious and how only Aki and Kai were inflected with slo-mo syndrome and the connection of events to Exoskeleton. Haha, I just noticed the play of names for Aki and Kai nicknames. Man, I miss the weirdness of Furugoori. This episode seems so short...and that's simply means, how this show rocks. I am simply loving this show. ^_^

Finally. A new OP. The old one was kind of lame and annoying. This badass opening to a song and the dude's riding a scooter. New one makes more sense.

In the end though, this episode was quite heartwarming. And I'm glad we got to see an episode focused on Jun. Good returning to this after two weeks.

ED was also nice. WAY better than the old one. Nothing but a relatively good song with images and spiffs of animation to that grey-haired AI in awkward poses.

What is Jun's purpose in all of this anyway. She contributes nothing and I doubt she ever will.

Same here, i liked the new ED, and although i also at first expected more robots than drama, i kinda like this development more.

Anyway, nice episode...
Currently watching everything that comes out to avoid missing something good...

Am I the only one that fucking loved this episode? Call me crazy, but I thought this was one of the best episodes of the series so far. I actually teared up a little at the end.

In regards to the plot, it's progressing just fine. If you're comparing it to Steins;Gate, the plot has progressed MUCH farther than that series did through the first half. Where this series seems to be lacking is character development and it appears the writers are focusing on that at this time. While some say "they should've done this sooner," I disagree. I'm completely okay with waiting until now to develop the characters. They did a nice job of advancing the plot in the first half, enough to keep me interested in this series. Now the character development needs to catch up...I can't think of a better time than the middle of the series.

I'm slightly disappointed about this episode. From my point of view Jun is a boring and weak character; I'm in no way interested to learn more about her. Furthermore, the way her background story was conveyed didn't impress me in any way. After seeing the trailer for the second half of this anime I was really excited and I was hoping to see more twists and action (it will probably happen in the next episodes).

The new OP is okay, the new ED is amazing!

It was a great episode of Robotics;Notes this week. Good to see Jun finally get her trauma about robots gone, and really glad to see her and Doc finally get their relationship back on track. I'm glad all this was done in one episode and not two. I'm kinda looking for more sequel to the reports and more plot twists, but I'm glad it was done this way.

Looking forward to the next episode. Frau to enter! Oh and the new OP and ED are beautiful, and looks like it will fit the 2nd part of the season just fine.

It's no wonder gunpro-1 couldn't walk. This show is all about foot-dragging. ADVANCE THE MAIN PLOTLINE ALREADY!

I think I just keep expecting the wrong things from this show. I¨ll just keep watching and see how it turns out, though.

Actually, before there was the anime, I heard R;N never really gets dark, or at least nowhere near the first X;Y entries. I just keep hoping it was some misleading info, but it might be good to take into consideration.

At least they didn't drag on the stuff with Jun beyond this episode.

I had thought it would suddenly go crazy with the stuff shown in the PV but not yet it seems. Anyway, it wasn't a bad episode in itself but seriously, I'm getting kinda bored because just when things started to tie together, this episode made it feel detached again.

The new op was cool but after waiting for two weeks I was slightly disappointed... Still glad it came out. There is still an episode next week right? It took me forever to find out if there was going to be a 12th episode in the first place-.-

The episode was good, I felt it was a little more dramatic than it needed to be though. I missed Frau this week. :c
