| As said in title, I'm looking for some anime which have original and especially weird premises. They don't have to be good anime in any respect, so long as the premise or some part of the anime is inherently "can't keep my eyes off the screen" weird. In fact, it'd be even better if they're out-right terrible. Examples I've seen:

| Revolutionary Girl Utena, which is on your Plan to Watch, fits this pretty well. It's really weird and everything is a metaphor. It's actually good though. If you want something bad that is just the perfect level of bad to be hilarious, http://myanimelist.net/anime/1810/Kyoshiro_to_Towa_no_Sora It's not the worst anime ever made, but it's at the perfect level to be downright hilarious in all its badness. Probably the most sparkly Mary-Sue driven 'shounen' ever to exist. Ranma 1/2 - Kamfer is pretty much a copy of this series, except Ranam is of course much better. Main guy turns into a girl when splashed with water and his dad turns into a panda. Another character turns into a pig, another into a cat, another into a duck, etc... |
