| Sadly it seems as though they are probably abandoning the translation according to their last few updates... I think I'm probably gonna die before this manga is even fully translated and it's over 40 years old! :( |

| How common is it to crowdsource money for a translation? I'm not very knowledgable about the culture of scanlations but I'm sure there are freelance Japanese translators out there that would love some work (and cash). I'm sure this manga has enough of a following to get at least a few chapters, if not a volume, funded. |

Pretty-Belle said: The skipped volumes were long flashbacks that were not necessary for the main plotline. They are more like spin-offs. I think some translators didn't want to continue the series because the flashback volumes were pretty boring lol And that was it until someone decided to just skip them. It's part of the story, I don't understand a half-assed effort...I mean when I read it I was kinda surprised about the long flashback, too...but it's an older manga, so...maybe that's why. |

| Kaze to Ki no Uta is far better than any of Moto Hagio’s BL. It looks like the scanlations are finally complete, backstories included. |
