| I'm half expecting that the implied potential "kiss" in the previews will most likely end up a total cocktease disappointing moment. The need for production companies to cater to moneybag 2D loving otakus and their puritan BS far outweighs their need to have a satisfying progressive romance development in any of their series. Western anime fans look forward to that potential kiss moment with a sense of elation and anticipation. Japanese with their officially licensed Rikka dakimakuras look at that preview with a NTR rage moment sense of dread. I know i sound jaded and cynical. It is what it is. The primary target audience is not us. It is a diminishing niche of eccentric Japanese otaku. |

| well, this is KyoAni we're talking about. Though almost putting a kiss scene in a preview but not actually putting it in the actual episode would be a huge troll, and I hope KyoAni doesn't want to troll their audience. |

The fact they didn't animate a kiss when it was a canon event in the novel shows they're not interested in having Yuuta and rikka becoming a couple. Romantic comedy my ass. This was quite comedic, although they keep forgetting to add the romance. I bet you the OVA is jut going ot be some bullshit episode where the girls dress up in santa costumes and act shy, and where we see some mroe imaginary explosions and shooting but where relationship development is completely ignored. I'm going to go finish My little monster. |
