| I adore the manga, and this special/OAV/trailer/music video is great as well. It respects the mood, the beauty, and the sadness of the original work, and has excellent art & animation. The same cannot be said for the music: imo, the song was a bit dull and repetitive, and the accent of the singer was terrible, in the last minute you can't even understand what the hell is she saying. |

| Like Werr-y said: It's more like a trailer. If you just watch it, you can't understand what is a 'four-leaf' or why she have to go to that Fairy Park. Anyway, it's a good adaptation if you consider the art and the sadness spirit. |

| It has an Eirin number so I'm going to guess it was shown in theatres. I would presume it was screened with some other feature film. Aside from that...I found it to be kind of nostalgic. Haven't watched anything by Clamp in over 8 years. |
| saw this a few years ago on a s@#tty youtube rip and finally was able to view a proper dvd encode with 5.1 sound and boy did it make a huge difference finally being able to witness this in it's intended form - so very, very beautiful and sad, just as the original manga is - clover is by far and away my favorite of clamp's many wonderful works and deserves to have a proper continuation of the story (which will probably never happen at this point). this short ova seems to point at the possible way towards the making of a feature length film (which will almost definitely never happen, at least with the budget it deserves). anyways, i've been blessed to be able to see this short realization of what could have been. for me what really makes this SO especially great is the music by Ichiko Hashimoto - her voice and music so very wistful, erotic, ghostly, and bittersweet - i will definitely be checking out more of her works! |

| Decided to rewatch this for no good reason, and it's kind of sad how both this and the manga are absolutely gorgeous and yet are woefully incomplete in terms of story. I would have loved to see a feature film based on the manga if it had ever finished. Though honestly at this point I don't even want CLAMP to finish it, I don't think it would be satisfying this long after the fact. | I hope one day, we do get a full adaptaiton of this series the day the final 2 volumes of the manga does get published that is knowing how much clamp is notorious for their constant hiatuses of projects. |
