A few years ago, I marathon'd 10-20 episodes in one sitting each day when I first began Naruto, Bleach, and Gintama. At the time, I enjoyed them and wanted to catch-up, but slowed down eventually. This was when I first got into anime though; I haven't marathon'd since and probably never will again. Now, I can only do about 5 episodes a month, on average. XD

I watched all 51 episodes of Soul Eater without any sleep, and without leaving the house. I was sick and T.V. just sucks, I still hate this anime with a burning passion.

They are all liars. To watch 100 episodes in a straight sitting means going four days without sleep.

BTW, if you go to sleep, that's the end of your marathon because you couldn't keep going.

Your calculations are a bit off m8. 1 day = 60/~72 episodes. So its more like 1.25-1.5 days.

rofl at the idea of needing 4 straight days to watch 100 episodes. If you are going to accuse me of being a liar, could you at least get the very basic math right?

The longest thing I marathoned was Monster, which was 74 episodes and I watched in 20 episode chunks over 4 days. That's about how long I can put up with the eyestrain I get from lots of continuous subtitles until I have to sleep to get rid of it.

Latest one was Birdy the Mighty Decode season 2.

I marathoned Naruto over like 4 or 5 days, so 100+. It's been a long time since I've marathoned a whole series, but I did it a lot when I was first getting into anime. Naruto was the longest; I think the most under that or all the rest were 24-26 episodes.

I can't really remember since I'm usually intoxicated when marathoning something. Haruhi was probably the longest in one sitting, but I honestly can't recall how many episodes I managed to watch. I think it was the complete first season, and Season 2 up until the ending of E8. Don't know how many episodes this were, but damn, rarely had so much fun with one show. I genuinely enjoyed E8 and plan on rewatching them. Hated the movie though.
