THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
That guy told the truth after getting attack protecting the girl. That main antagonist guy said what he's been doing for 400 years, including killing the parents of the girl and manipulate her. (so cruel)

Onikirimaru (That antagonist guy after receiving the power of the sword) vs. the guardians + tamayorihime's supporting power (yeah, that what she only can do, to give more power, but because of that they won). Wow, just wishing can make onikirimaru disappear? That's too easy.

Even without the goal of protecting Onikirimaru, Tamaki remains as tamayorihime and the guardians remain as Tamaki's guardians (as well as the girl leaving with the green hair lady). ED: "Takaramono (宝物)" by Maiko Fujita, and everyone farewells viewers.

I enjoyed it overall, but sometimes skeptical about things (and not supporting much about the main pair).

Predictable ending although I enjoyed some of the battles from this series. Also, finally everything is resolved. It's about damn time. Overall, though, meh series and meh episode.

HERE IT COMES:

5/10. Liked both the OP songs though including the one from the previous seaoson.

To much talking and not enough doing in that final fight. But, whatever, they did well in the end.

Ein was probably my favorite character - glad he found what he was looking for.

And just what the hell does Takara see in that "Health Department" guy?

5/10, this was barely better than the first season. I feel this series had potential, but it was wasted. And why was there an info dump in the last episode?

I love this episode, awesome action, and touching ending. However, in my opinion, I don't believe that it's over. I believe that they'll bring it back and have Rin and Kether, too. That's what I believe. Above all, love this series.

Well the games do continue after this, but the anime has been selling like crap so don't expect any more anime.

I did not like this episode. It was short, and the Onikirimaru was wrapped up in such a simple and clean fashion.

- Like Cratex said, 'not enough doing in that final fight.' The enemy didn't put up much of a fight other than a few blast of attacks.
- The way Onikirimaru was easily sealed. Seriously just by a few simple words? It feels cheap compare to the human sacrifices given to seal the sword. Where was the effort put into sealing the sword?

All in all, a disappointing anime to watch. It would have been better if the anime was shorten to one season with better directors telling the story. I should have mention this in previous episodes that I did not like how Tamaki was given her goddess power so easily (which she finally received and took almost the two seasons to get to). It lacks effort/training to get them and to see her seal the Onikimaru so easily? Also the interaction between the characters feel stiff.

Not even a pair of ruby slippers before she says: "There's no place like home..."?

The dissolving of the Onikiramaru was a total anti-climax. The final fight was OK, but I really wanted to see a few more things resolved and some questions answered. (Like just where is Monado going and what will happen to her and Vier?) Considering that this show had three cours to play with, many characters still seemed a little stiff and cardboard by the end except for Tamaki and Takuma.

Edit: Oops, I hadn't watched episode 12, so that explains some of the rough transitions. It helped a bit, but not enough to raise this any higher.

I'm keeping it at a 7 for the foliage and OST. It didn't kill the Otome genre for me, but it should have been better.

I think this show is only two cours, not three.

Lol that was cheesy but not any worse than the first season.
The wishing away and dissolving of the Onikimaru was questionable though.

If anything I do like Takuma and Takami together, each of them alone is a different story.

If this show was like 10-12 episodes long and the final fight was a little longer with more tension, this could of been a lot better.

Oh and probably a kiss at the end would make it better lol.

Just wondering, Melchizedek(Drei) said that he brought back Aria's mother from the dead. Do they go into more detail about that in the source material?

Well, that was a really bad adaptation of the game. It became Takuma’s show with all his childish and awkward romance. If they wanted to do that, one season would be enough and then it would be a much better show. Other Guardian’s routes were completely crumpled, especially Mahiro, Yuuichi and even Ryou. The first season was absolutely boring and I held my hopes high for the second season but… I was seriously disappointed.

The awakening of the Guardians and Tamayori looked meaningless and strange, because in the game a Guardian should be awoken with the kiss and a pledge of loyalty, and the power of love would give Tamaki strength for her awakening. The final battle was spectacular, but in the game there were a lot more action and Tamaki put A LOT MORE efforts into sealing/destroying Onikirimaru.

The only good thing for me in this anime was the visual part (there is only static pictures and a lot of text in the game).

Well, I guess I should say that Takuma’s route was adapted pretty good, but I hate him. For someone who likes him, I think this anime would be enjoyable (if you skip half of the episodes that were just fillers or sad attempt to adapt the other boys’ routes).

Um no! I hated this ending! The fighting sucked and everything in between sucked! There was no flow! It was just rush, rush, rush because this was the last episode and everything had to get wrapped up!

And everyone got all excited about that kiss two episodes ago only for the anime to end like this! And he just patted her on the head after that two minute battle? And then they both want to get all embarrassed when they get interrupted?

I need to go back and edit my favorite list......

I didn’t play all the routes in the game (didn't play Shinji), but Aria was told that Onikirimaru can revive her mother that’s why she was so persistent to obtain it.

Some nice action shots in the final battle! So very very screenshot-worthy, (I'm probably totally gonna go screenshot-crazy once I find a really good picture quality version) :)

But other than that, gawd I'm glad this train wreck of an anime is finally done.

i felt the battle against monster drei didnt feel long enough for a final boss battle, but victory was expected either way

also kinda anti-climatic how tamaki was just able to make the onikirimaru disappear, when previous generations of tamayori princesses had to perform rituals and sacrifices, etc. just to keep it sealed :/

the only thing that couldve made this ending better was a kiss, but everyone's still together in the end, so it's all good

nice, happy ending overall

Well, that was rather easy. Five minutes of attack on a "god" to kill him and then simply wish the bad "end of the world" thing away.

The old hag alone killed more people than all the "bad guys" and monsters together. That could have been interesting to the plot. "Pass on the memories"... Of the tradition of killing people off as sacrifices?

Overall, pretty meh. That money could have been put to a better use.

If I'm correct (which I'm probably not, fyi. lol), my speculation is that Sybil happens to be the name of the first Tamayori Princess that she was reincarnated from (how Logos knew that, I have no idea. O.o).

Like I said, this is only speculation, so don't take it to heart. I might be wrong. lol.

well that sucked. this show was pretty much just downright awful and i gave it every fair chance. the first op was the absolute only redeeming quality in this show.

the only chance it had was if tamaki really died for the cause and was sacrificed to seal the onikirimaru. having a fluffy and cheerful ending where tamaki stays alive and keeps her whole fucking harem is a real fuck you to the plot they tried so desperately to force. frankly i liked the first season better where there was no plot at all. at least we didnt know how epically bad it would turn out. tamaki probably wins the award for worst shoujo heroine ever.

ah goddam. 4.5/10 overall

IDk, i guess I overestimated this season.
But pretty much every episode it frustrated me, how this is all about the guardians and not about the tamayori princess.

The fact that the only thing she did was give support or more power to her guardians, and then wished for the final artifact to disappear. But everything else was done by the guys. It's like they are trying to give them all the glory and make her seem like a damsel in distress. Like come on, we are in the 21st century. We post modern feminists want to be strong and kick the bad dudes a**. Or at least i do.
So yeah, I was hoping for her to acquire a power that would actually make HER strong and be able to fight, or at least magic that she can use to attack/defend herself and others. And uh, not have the guys be there to help her eveytime.

BUT whatever. But just in case there is a 3rd season, you can make sure that I will be back to watch it, but again, I will be expecting more action from Tamaki damn it!
eh!

Let's take form the start! Seeing Drei attacking Aria, Tamaki (already awaken as the hime and possessing power - don't know how much but still she's the hime, right) should have done something to protect her in my opinion! But what did she do?!!! Nothing!!! She just stood there and watched!! If it wasn't for Ein, Aria and Vier would have been killed!! It's just frustrating how her contribution equals to zero!!! ヽ(≧▲≦)ノ

The fighting scenes were cool yet they seemed too short!!! ¬___¬'' It was the last episode and there were a lot of things that had to happen so it did seem rushed! Too bad!! Plus the disappearance of Onikirimaru made it look as if teh previous himes were either too dumb or too dense to have wished for the same thing to happen!!! >_<'''

The ending was okay, but it's a good point that some of you mentioned that Takuma and Tamaki kissed before and now just hugging each other they start feeling embarrassed, just what in the world is going on?!?!!

I think I expected a lot more, yet I don't consider my expectations to be so high and unreachable!!! In my opinion, there were just too many things which were not thought through and a lot of parts of the plot that could have been developed way better!!! I believe the storyline had a greater potential than was shown in the series!!!

However, I will miss Mahiro's attitude so much!!!! TT~TT' From the moment I saw him, h's been reminding me so much of Yata Misaki!!!! ;333 Love them both so much!!! ♥

I think the ending was flat and completely predictable. During the whole series i was waiting for a moment that would elevate the story into something interesting, but it never happened. The plot of this anime had potential to be something really good but it failed to capitalise it.

Plot was bad, characters were fine. They spent too much time doing nothing. They couldve wrapped up the whole 2 seasons in 6 episodes.
