| mm, so the plot thickens. At this point in 2002, this is where I went "wtf?!" and couldn't stop watching. Had to find out what was going on. Toei, unfortunately, disappointed me and never explained to me satisfactorily what the deal is with Ayu. I had to look online to figure things out. Hopefully this time we'll get a much better story (we have like 4 eps left to do so). Hmm...in terms of the romantic date-o Ayu and Yuuichi have together for 3/4 of this episode...it didn't feel as natural as it did the first time. Yuuichi just didn't seem to give any hint of his feelings for the first 18 episodes, so I can't really see them together as a good match - not as much as Mai and Shiori have been. Meh, well I'll await the crying part...hopefully. We still got a couple of sad moments left, and I trust KyoAni will hit the target straight with these golden memories. |

| Nooo~! Don't take Ayu away~! /Complex Even tho their day-to (©) didn't feel all natural, it was still fun to watch. Now I really wonder if it's 24 episodes or 26. No one seems to know for sure. I didn't see the 2002 edition so I went 'wtf?' now. There were quite a lot of scenes foreshadowing something like what happened. Even tho I kinda hoped it wouldn't :D. Guess it was 'over' after she took her wings off. I'm really curious and sort of hope she's not gone. Also you could clearly notice that Akiko and Nayuki sort of figured what was going on. Nayuki tried to avoid Yuuichi in the beginning, didn't she? I felt sorry for her when she got rejected by him after school. Edit: Jason's gonna have fun with this episode ^_^. |

| another great episode, animation seems to be up and i have become very intriuged with Ayu's story. so lets see how kyoani handles this arc. |

| hmm i thought it was offically announced 26 episodes cause i remember eclispe making the file sizes of some of the episodes smaller in order to fit the series on one dvd |

| there seems to be conflicting information now that I double checked. ANN and AniNFO say 24, AniDB says 26. Don't kill me for not checking MAL because I wrote that =P. well, hopefully Eclipse and AniDB are right. 2 more eps is something I'd be happy to hear about. |

As far as I know, the time span in BS-i's schedule fits 26 episodes. |

| I knew almost from the beginning that there was no school... I almost laughed out loud when they came to the top of the clearing, and found a giant stump Too bad Ayu-chan is kinda nuts :( Oh and btw it's definetly 24 episodes, Wikipedia says so ;) |

| Lame episode is lame. D: I was really looking forward to the romance between Ayu and Yuuichi, but it seemed awfully stilted to me. Perhaps I'm just being too critical. The last five minutes were pretty good, and I definitely want to find out what's up, but the rest of the episode was blah. On another note, Ayu was absolutely adorable in Nayuki's school uniform~ |

| It was pretty obvious from the beginning that there was never a school there but it seems that Ayu really was convinced there was. What I thought was going to happen was she was waiting for the opportunity to bring Yuuichi back to the tree where they shared memories of only to find that the tree had been cut down. I'm pretty confused right now but the only more than confused I am is tired so I'm going to have to resume tomorrow. |

| I cried ;_; And I swear I had no choice but to look up the ending afterwards. I'm more or less used to finding myself caring a lot about the characters in a series, but this was truly "must find out right now they can't be so unfair it's a lie a lie a lie" territory. I always thought her school was suspicious, but I didn't expect an ending like that. Four weeks until the final DVD release, I think I shall go quite insane. ;_; |

| So Ayu's a ghost, Makoto's a fox, and Mai's a child with a deity-like ability.... KEY incorporates some ineteresting aspects with the girls they create, even though you initially get the idea that the story is a normal Slice of Life without any supernatural things in it, well I at least got that notion in the first episodes of Kanon that I watched.... ....5/5, me rated. Anyway, I wonder if ALL the remaining mysteries can be cleared up in a matter of 4 episodes :S |
| it definitely seems Ayu fell off that true and died 7 years ago, which is why he's so scared of heights and didn't come back for 7 years and blocked out his own memory because of the pain. thus the losing his first love comments. it's obvious Akiko and Nayuki know something but want him to figure it out on his own. I wonder who the older girl he supposedly liked was? Ayu didn't like older so maybe Akiko herself? that'd be odd. anyway just fun predictions before seeing anything more. I still want to see more Shiori and Mai before it ends :( |

| uguu ooku ayu xD! That cracked me up. But more and more about Yuiichi's past is being revealed I have some theories but no idea if they're far fetched or not, I do wonder how Ayu can go to 'school' everyday but only realize it then that seemed to stretch it a little but when Yuiichi thought back to the past and saw the long hair and how Akiko said a tree got cut down I can only imagine that when it fell Ayu was on it, so then is Ayu actually a memory of the past =/? |
| I figured something was wrong with Ayu fairly early on. I pretty much figured she was dead after the nurse's reaction to her when they met Shiori at the hospital. I'm still a tad disturbed by how they did it. Should be an interesting explanation for that one. |

| ok that's it...i can't keep it in anymore,lol...massive brainstorming in 3...2..1...go! this is what i think this anime is all about: i THINK that all of this is somehow a dream of Yuiichi...i think that he actually didn't move to that city but he's just having a dream in wich he remembers what happened 7 years ago or something... seriously if this is what's this anime about i will be pissed so i hope i'm not right... Ayu disappearing...saw that coming sorry :( i bet that the rest episodes will sickly be about Nayuki/Yuiichi and probably she will also disappear and then he will like wake up or something...i guess :p I hope it will have a happy ending but i doubt it... |

Which would explain the fear of heights? That is insane and believes a tree stump is a school? Why would it even be a school? (Wasn't it just where Yuuichi and Ayu went together?) I'm left in confusion. ?.? Most questions have been answered. And are they seriously just gonna be like "fuck Makoto?" That whole spiel Yuuichi went through is just forgotten about? | Ayu and Yuuichi really was too fast and sudden. Not the best planning or development for their romance. It is pretty cute though :) But I feel bad for Naiyuki :/ Even though she's Yuuichi's cousin, her feelings are obvious. I think I'll have to choose between a 7 and 8 for the show as a whole. I enjoyed it, but the main romance was REALLY sudden. I hate when things like that happen. But besides that, I have NO CLUE as to what is going on with Ayu. I'm pretty confuzzled so I hope things'll clear up. My only guess is that somehow Ayu's existence is tied into the tree's. |

| Eh. Ayu and Yuuichi's thing was too short, made it seem like a joke. At this point, they're trying too hard to be sad or dramatic, and it's making it ridiculous. Not really a fan of it :l Also, Ayu's exit at the end didn't make any sense. I assume it's something about the tree, but we'll probably(hopefully) find out later. |
