There is no such thing as a good addiction, self control is important. But I guess I have a small addiction to chocolate and such.
Having a favourite anime is something nice.

Reiterate it more. Then people might give a shit. I think a few more posts will do the trick.

Every time someone has "I'm straight edge," I lose a little bit of faith in humanity.

why is that? you are my friend so I do not want you to lose hope for humankind, friend ^_^;; I personally don't enjoy intentionally partaking in substances that impair my rationality but that's just me ^_^;;

I understand that it is very tempting to put your hand over your butt and fart into it and then smell your hand but please try not to indulge yourself in public! that is a very dangerous addiction

Addictions that I think I have that are good.
Pleasuring my partner and watching them making those expressions, and hearing the gasps and moan. as their arms and legs wrap around me tightly trying to hold on.
Sleeping with someone in your arms, their hand upon your chest, with their cheek to your, You can feel their warmth all over your body.

Worst Addictions.
Some games can be addictive and can distract me from work and studies, So facebook is one with the apps.
Texting can be one if you have someone you want to talk to.

plenty of drugs become a vital habit.

since when?

Someone addicted to benzos, alcohol, barbiturates, or even worse any combination of them can have fatal seizures/reactions if they stop using them suddenly.

Believe it or not, here in the US many doctors will forcibly take people off benzos suddenly leaving them to have seizures and many horrible symptoms. Then not even believing it's benzo withdrawals when they start complaining about the symptoms. Medical incompetence at it's best really.

In most cases I would agree because the person decided to get addicted to the drug in the first place.

Once you're addicted to these drugs though, it's not just a matter of strong motivation/will. You could end up HATING drugs and wanting nothing but to stop taking them, the problem being that if you do you might end up dying if you don't do it right.

Often times, benzos (and to a lesser extent barbiturates) are PRESCRIBED to people who are completely naive about the potential withdrawal effects. These people had doctors get them addicted, it's not their fault they didn't know any better. Then when they're forced off them for whatever reason and can't get them anymore, guess what happens? This isn't their fault, your fucking idea of "strong will" isn't going to stop them from suffering from benzo withdrawals, they want nothing more than to be off the drug, but they CAN'T stop taking it or else they might die. That's not a matter of motivation at that point, it's "you better take the drug or else".

i've known people in my life, that i admire.... they were very dependable of drugs, you have no idea, it was 2 guys ...one of them had a baby, and the day his baby was born he said "i will stop this shamefull way, i have no right to embarase my son with my own failures" ...and from that day on, he is clean and very healthy ...

the other case was a man who was very sick, the doctor said to him" if you dont stop , you will diein less than a year" ...it cause a shock so big that from scare he hasnt touched a single medicine since that day

I don't think you understand what I'm talking about.

You can drop a 3-way cocaine/amphetamine/opiate addiction off willpower. You can't do that with benzos. It has nothing to do with that stereotypical drug addiction bullshit.

It's the exact opposite of: " if you dont stop , you will diein less than a year"

Best addiction I'd say would be something constructive like playing an instrument or something.

I'm not addicted to anything though.

Positive addiction...hmmm...sounds like just making a good habit, but some good habits can turn into addictions.

Addictions are often associated with the negative things, so it would be hard to say what draws the line between a negative and positive addiction.

Anyways, probably one of the worse addiction would be anything extremely life threatening. There are plenty out there, I'm just too lazy to state.

This could be both good and bad but I'm kind of addicted to routine. I don't plan my day or life out or anything like that I just have certain things I need to do at certain times and when I get into the routine of doing it it makes me feel happy. For example I make sure I exercise at the same time every day, I eat at the same time everyday, go to bed/wake up at the same time every night/day. It just works for me.
