| Pretty brutal episode and a good one too, although again it just feels like at times, they're just forcing some of the story down instead of letting the narrative just let it happen naturally. There's just a lot going on with different themes so it comes across as unfocused at times, but at least when they focus on something for a bit, it's mostly going to be solid. I liked the stories that Satoru's grandmother told to Saki and showcased how depressing the situation for Karma Demons and Fiends were. I don't really care for the Mamoru disappearance after though since his character is so boring/bland/forgettable/annoying at times. Wish he disappeared from the very beginning tbh. |
| It's deplorable that usually the people who are really nice end up turning into a karma demon. It makes total sense, though. Mamoru has gone missing now. It is very likely that he is very close to turning into a karma demon or has already become one. I hope Saki and others will be able to save him, though. A quite dialogue heavy episode, but still really enjoyed it. |
| This one had me chocked up. the split second frame of the karma demon crying while taking the pills was an amazing touch, especially followed by saki's tears. |
| So when the doctor injected the Ogre with the poison, did the doctor die because of Death Shame? Did he even suffer death shame or just killed by the Ogre? Or does Death Shame only applies if you try to hurt another PK user with PK? |

| Considering I've heard a deeper Saki voice in some of the voice overs, I'm guessing she ends up as head of the Ethics Committee after all. So, she may be regaling the audience with this story. That would be my initial theory after everything that happened this episode. Whether its her choice or not, she already seems be on the "Ethics" path. Now it really just comes down to how much of what is being told by the adults is the truth and how much isn't? |

| sucks to be Ryou, he also got his memories tampered so he can be used as a Shun replacement an now that the group is aware of the situation no one cares about Ryou anymore, poor guy, none of this was his fault |
