Error: You must first login to see this page. - is what I get on latest Opera from Hungary on WinXP for the last few days. Before it was only unable to keep logged in telling me to clear my cookies. It wouldn't log in on Chrome as well, that is now fine.

I recommend setting a proxy for those in Singapore who cannot log in

1. in Google Chrome -> Settings -> Show Advanced Settings -> Change Proxy Settings
2. LAN Settings -> tick Use Proxy Server for your LAN
3. Address: proxy.singnet.com.sg
Port: 8080

Let me know if it works

For IE (I assume you're using Internet Explorer) it's under Tools > Internet Options > Connections

Give it a shot. Might just do the trick

Same problem, last few days only, US, Vista, Firefox 20.0.1, the first time I visit each day.
Your mean should be an even bell curve only if you watch every show that comes out. Having a high-slung mean doesn't mean you're rating improperly. It can also mean you're selecting shows well to watch mostly things you enjoy.

For users who are experiencing log in issues, here's a solution:

By Reiseina Yuliany (February 1 at 7:02am)

"Go "Control Panel" -> "Internet Option" -> Under "Connection", Click on "LAN Settings", check the box on "Use Proxy server for your LAN" Address: proxy.singnet.com.sg Port: 8080

Like that can alr, it works for me."

For how much more will we have to log in "30 times a week"?!

Proxy isn't an asnwer.

PLEASE FIX THIS. This is a nightmare. I'm sick of seeing this message. How can a site this big can have such a problem and keep it unsolved for MONTHS?

And is that supposed to be a satisfactory fix? It's a temporary one at best. I myself could not connect to that proxy and, like him, am currently using a VPN, albeit one located in Japan.

I certainly do not want to have to connect through VPN/Proxy every time I use MAL. His point still stands though, that the problem does not exist when connecting through VPN/Proxy, so it is not browser or OS related, but is probably network related.

I'm from Singapore, and did not have this issue until I switched from cable broadband to our dear country's fibre service.

I know. This whole thing started when MAL came under an attack from a hacker and to solve it they blocked a whole load of IP addresses from halfway round the globe. While they fix it (or at least they say they're fixing it in a previous post) I suppose using a proxy/VPN is a way to work around it

I'm not sure if this is the right place, but when I'm browsing through clubs and forums, I'm constantly being redirected to the candy crush saga app on my android phone. Is there some sort of glitch or malware that cause mal to do this?

it had been happening to other people when they are browsing other websites also. I wonder did MAL get affected?

I never experienced such thing for now, here or any place I can remember of. I use Adblock Plus, maybe that helps.

I use MacBook, and proxy server works for me.
You don't really need to use proxy.singnet.com.sg if it doesn't work, you can use any free public proxy server from some other country where MAL works.

Try using one from this website:

Problem with staying logged in.

Almost every time site gives me: "We've had a problem keeping you logged in. Please clear your cookies, close your browser, and try again to log in"

Ofc clearing cookies did not help. Same thing happens on mobile opera/skyfire
