See, the only thing about that is, how would they go about incorporating Tsukiyo and Yui then? The Akari Arc also is decently important in introducing her and learning more about

As well as the hinogi (? Last arc) in introducing the traitor. I'm also wondering what they're gonna do about Tenri, since she was in an OVA. I kinda feel like they're gonna have to trudge though these conquests even if it affects sales if they're trying to remain true to the manga. We'll just have to see though... Hopefully, everything will turn out great!

Well... Maybe, just maybe, this one won't be a shitty adaptation like the previous ones. So far the Tenri-hen was the only good Kami Nomi anime and that's mostly because of them having only two episodes. Somebody tell those morons that 3 chapters =/= 3 episodes and then we can talk.

Really? Well, I actually did think the Tenri-hen was quite a good adaptation, since they did a splendid job in covering 9 chapters in 2 episodes but... Well, I thought the jokes felt a bit off, which I didn't think about the TV series. Also, they didn't show the new hell meeting with Nora's introduction. But I won't complain, I loved the OVA.

Still, my point is, I think the anime has been pretty much one of the most faithful adaptations I've seen, so I have no idea how you can call it shitty. It never felt too slow-paced to me either, even though I do want then to get to the best part (i.e. Mai-High Festival arc) soon. And think of it - do you think it'd work in an anime having 1 dedicated to each girl or something? Because that's what would happen in the first season if they didn't do it that way. Since the captures there are rather quick.

I believe that was the main complaint to some viewers because they felt some of the captures are long. I actually dont mind for 3 episodes to capture format but I will agree why people are put off by that. Some elements are dragged out such as Shiori inner monologue of why she likes book was addressed twice and is quite lengthy. I thought once was already enough. In the next season I can see Minami can be done in 1 episode because its short and its also a great way to start the season to reintroduce viewers. Rieko can also be done in one episode. But no matter how manglobe is going to pace it, they will need 2 seasons (12 episodes each) before they bring the goddess arc. Unless manglobe wants to do a 2 episode arc and introduce the goddess arc at the end of season 4 with a cliffhanger end at that big twist. Still I absolutely love this series and that is the reason why Keima is in my profile icon.

But that was exactly the point I was addressing. As in, I was trying to justify the fact the captures were slower paced. I mean, in most captures, one episode for each girl would feel way too... well, it would definitely lack the capability of imersing the viewers. As they did an average of 2-3 episodes for each girl, I felt it was quite reasonable. Though I could actually see Minami's being adapted in only one episode too. Even if that might have to do with the fact that that one is probably my least favorite capture. Same with Rieko's. (I actually didn't even remember who that was. Took me a couple of minutes wondering how I could not remember an arc xD)

As for the goddess arc, I don't think they'll take all that long. Despite the chronological mess up, if they don't repeat Tenri's arc in S3, I think that going at a bit of a faster pace (like the pace we got in the OVA), they may be able to adapt most the events up to that arc in this season. Which would let the goddess arc start being adapted by the beginning of a 4th season. Though now that I think about it, if they plan on fitting in the chapters with Haqua's buddy, Diana's explainations and stuff, it won't be possible to fit everything up to there in this season. It really depends on whether they maintain this pacing (in which case it can only go as you said) or if they fasten it.

As a side note, ending a season with that one scene would really be a hell of a nice cliffhanger. If you're referring to what I think you're referring to.

-This has me wondering. Has an OVA of the main plot ever was reshown in the TV series? I can imagine it could confuse TV only viewers that have never seen the ova.
That was actually the first thing I thought when the OVA was announced. I've never heard of it being re-shown and that's both the reason I was assuming they probably won't and why I also worried about it upon first hearing of it, since those two episodes packed as much or more plot development than the first two seasons. I'm not sure how it'll be done.

-Yes thats what I was referring to. I thought it is actually a good way to end season by shocking the viewers. It is also a great way to began the season because that is where the goddess arc actually begins.
Agreed. I hadn't thought of it, but when you mentioned it, it seemed like a great idea on how to end a season.

I hope Elisa returns to sing for the opening theme. She had to take a break due to fatigue but she recently return this January. Its probably the only Engrish song I actually like because its catchy gibberish.
Oh, I agree, though I'd go a bit farther. I usually dislike "Engrish" songs as well, but I love most sung by her. The OPs for the ef series are pretty good as well. So yeah, I hope she returns to sing the OP too.

I think you're probably mistaken. The poster says "2013.4.21" (not even "2") and refers to TWGOK/Hayate joint musical project. The last news in the site were posted on the 23rd and are also about music. I'm quite sure there's no confirmed date whatsoever yet.

Really good news. I guess the no-sayers proved to be wrong and the show managed to get a third season despite any disk sales. So I guess we will be seeing the girls from the last episode of the second season.

i hope it is not the same format though ( 3 girls + 2 ep filler)
something that would advance the plot would be way better.

Just think of the fillers as a chance to show us further character interaction between those who rarely speak to eachother

This series is one of my favorite anime. It deserves a third season. Plus, while currently reading the manga, it is sure to be a very entertaining, epic season.

I agree, alot of people do not like fillers, yet fillers give us an unique story and point of view between characters. It is something to enjoy as a fan of not just the story but also the series as a whole as well.
