Iwasawa's my personal favorite, such a sad and tragic past. It was sad enough seeing her leave, but now the rest...

The most impressive one to me was Kanade's disappearance. Otonashi scrambling, trying to hold her when she is no long there is pretty heart-breaking. What really gets me though was his scream. It positively rips out of him and it sounds like it is tearing at his throat as he makes it. A scream so powerful that it physically hurts you to make it. It really, really sells that he just lost the most important person in his life. It's quite honestly one of the most impressive lines of voice acting I've ever heard. Pain doesn't even begin to describe the sound the he makes; it's the sound of absolutely heart-wrenching agony.
