Are there are any laws in your country that you don't follow

Well, you're on a website where they're listed hundreds of difficult to find, never licensed anime and manga. There is a certain type of laws that, just to be here, all of us have to infringe.

The bad news is that I spend too much on anime and manga anyway. XD

That's a law?

Nope. There is no law like that in any country. Neither is there a law for being barefoot in public or inside establishments. But people tell eachother that is is, so they believe it.

Anyway, I think the only law I have broken (next to being a pirate) would be urinating on public property (a tree).

Ok serious time, im a pirate, yah yah i know i know its not that uncommon and many of us here do it, but unlike them i take pride in it, i mean i put alot of effort commandeering passenger ships off the coast of the somalian mainlands, stealing as much loot off their ships before shooting and/or raping all the passengers

Yah i am just an average pirate but i do a good job at it if you ask me

When you urinate on town hall and cop catches you and you are drunk and still manage to pull yourself out of that situation only with your lying and creative skills give me a call xD Also in my country you can't drive in slippers or barefoot, you must wear shoes.

Have you actually seen that law on paper? Or heard it from someone else?

For me it's piracy laws, drug prohibition laws, and child pornography laws (dun worry is 2D). That and other petty bullshit like jaywalking, loitering, littering, and truancy.

edit: forgot shoplifting when I was a kid

My uncle works in police or fire department and he knows the laws, plus he was punished for driving in his slippers.

This thread is so utterly lacking, it is just so pedestrian.

I've enjoyed walking in the nude in places I was not supposed to be doing so on the edges of town still green and quasi wilderness. Hell I have walked through town at night butt naked just for the lark of it (my town is that dead at 3 in the morning though).

The wife has joined me a few times, and there is NOTHING so fun as stripping but naked, walking a 30 minute walk away from your clothes and casually screwing in the first bit of comfortable grass somewhere you simply are not supposed to be doing that.

Walking through red lights phaah that is so totally who cares :)

The problem with laws though, is there are not many you can break, that are fun to do as well. I mean, murder, it's not something I call a fun activity. Theft is so juvenile. Serving minors booze is just no real thrill. I'm not into drugs, so I can't consider getting away with doing them worth mention.

I can't even think of anyone that doesn't download, so it's not really going to make you sound cool saying you do it.

I don't drive, never have, so vehicular crimes are not an option for me.

It's not easy to think of laws to ignore for laughs. And I am too old to be limited by being too young I guess.
While not technically anime, currently I am a big fan of Hatsune Miku.
At least I can go see her in concert.

It's pretty tame but I'm under 18 and regularly go on 4chan. It's not my fault that /a/ happens to be the single greatest place to discuss anime in the whole Internet. There's also no plebs like Anime_Name to ruin everyone's fun. Also, just like everyone else who uses the Internet, I illegally download on a regular basis.

Some people I know have done:
-Shoplifting (largest item was a PS2)
-Dealing drugs on school property: cocaine, heroin, shrooms, acid, weed
-Growing weed
-Drunk driving. Hit someone once, at like 2mph. He wasn't hurt.
-Solicited a prostitute (Tijuana, fun times)
-Bought a switchblade in China. Imported and carried it around for a while.
-Pirated and ripped a ton of stuff

I am in no way encouraging the following. What worked a long time ago might not work today. The following is theoretical.

You could do it yourself, but preferably with 2 people. Get one guy into the bathroom with a backpack. 2nd guy gets what he wants and then shops around for a while, then roll up to the bathroom (no cameras), and hands the system to the friend. He rips everything apart, stuffs the packaging in the trash or flush what he could down the toilet, puts the system into the backpack. The guy with the shopping cart leaves the cart at a random place in the store and walks out calmly with nothing. The other guy chills for a few minutes in the bathroom, then leaves too.

Here's the biggest part: Most store employees are trained not to follow you when you leave the store. So even if it does ring, just keep on walking as if nothing happened. Most customers would just assume that you bought something and it didn't get properly rung up. Walk around a corner, drop the backpack in a car, and just keep walking, or do whatever. In fact, you could just skip the first paragraph if you're slick enough, put the system in a bag, and walk out. The trick is to not let security figure it out until you're at the entrance (at which point it is too late for them to stop you).

I've known people that just asked for a shopping bag (large) at the counter, filled it up, then walked out pretending they've bought it. Another dude picked up a whole shelf of beer at a convenience store and walked out, pretending he's restocking. A normal employee wouldn't follow, and it takes some 3-5 minutes most of the time for cops to show up. You have to know where the cameras are beforehand, keep your head down, and hopefully you don't have a police record for them to match anything to even if they do have a shot of your face on camera at an off angle (just don't go back there again for a few weeks-months).
