Three of the executives resigned from the publisher and established Overlap this year. |
| Yumizuru is an all round terrible writer who has been using "I'm ill" as an excuse to not put out any new work for well over a year, and now he has gone and pissed off his publishers as well. I wish I could hate Infinite Stratos so I wouldn't have to put up with shit like this, but I like the characters to much. |

| Don't see why they would need to reboot it when the anime was pretty much close to what the LN depicted(both just as bad). I liked the concept of IS, just didn't like the development of the characters in the series. If anything they should just Rewrite, not Reboot the series. |

If anything the anime changes quite a bit of things in the LN, particularly near the ending; and in general it actually improves upon the LN. This anime is often quoted when someone asked in a forum which anime is better than its source material. Besides, the technical achievement like the mecha battles is done better than most would have expected for a harem anime. So that is another plus for the anime. |

| Well, in a way, it's not as if Ichika is the big strong man with all the women to protect. It's quite the opposite, really. In any case, you can't lose the harem because the IS girls are amongst the best characters harems have to offer. |

| for those who are still unsure. The reboot is starting at volume 8 of the novels. Before the dispute the novels ended at volume 7 which is around where the anime ends, so there is a chance of a second season once the novels start coming out, giving them more material. Also I think they might be doing a re-run of the first season but with updated character designs and so forth. |

| As long as it diverges from the typical 1-2 episode good setup, 7-8 episodes of horrible fillers and 1-2 episodes of ending action, I'm all for the reboot. |
