In technical terms, I assume a Bachelor of Fine Arts is another requirement at a four year institution to be considered qualified as well as work experience as well as references, sample games(?), and strong teamwork/time management skills. Graphic design is probably also one of the key elements a game designer have to learn to perfect. It definitely seems like a career that is interesting but challenging imo. Oh well, I probably won't consider it although it did strike to me at one point. Graphic design is essential to game design however, I think many would place just as much emphasis on programming if not more. After all, most of the core of a game comes from programming. In fact, a lot of graphic design, 3DS Max for example, is made from programming. In fact, modern technology revolves around programming. But that's a separate topic for another day. Anyways, an Arts degree is not required and I can't say for sure it'll necessarily push you in the right direction either. A lot of companies actually look for prior experience. For example, I heard of cases where people would hire others who had been programming since they were 8 rather than someone who graduated from a university and had never done solo projects or whatever. It's an interesting topic and I too, was fascinated by it at one point (still am actually). However, after trying it out a bit myself I decided it just wasn't for me. But I can't say that I won't learn any more Computer Science related subjects in the future as they will definitely come in handy in the future. |

| wow, It's been a long time since I enjoy every episode of an airing anime, Sakurasou is one of a few that makes me excited and wait for weekly episode. Aoyama's kansai dialect never gets bored xD, definitely a plus. Shiina took care and considered Sorata so much, she gradually changes herself. And, things turn out to be unexpected that Sorata failed the presentation. In the end he had learn that he would need to keep moving on forward. Once again, the transition between comedy and depressed moments was extremely well performed. Gosh I love this show more and more with every episode. |

| it's time for a new arc and new development. yay. can't wait to see what will happen with aoyama and sorata. Love triangle between mashiro, aoyama, and sorata can also be quite fun. For this episode, the finale for this arc is really good, how sorata manage to overcome his failure and to move forward. And i also starting to love all the characters (especially aoyama >///<). then cuteness when she blush and misunderstand will never get old. (>///<) |

| Decent episode. I like the mix of drama/romance and comedy in this show. I'm glad that they don't span out some drama incidents througout multiple episodes. Instead they solve it in the end which is better for the pacing imo. So another girl in the next episode. I really hope this doesn't turn out in a harem, but someone in the forum said she's one of Sorata's childhood friends, so I have lno high hopes at all x.x. For me Mashiro and Nanami are enough. Any other involvement from a girl who likes Sorata will just be a bother for me. |

| I was waiting for the pool episode to skip. In the end it turns out this isn't a fully pool episode and instead it's an episode filled what I like about this show :D Lovely episode. |

| Oh god, I absolutely LOVE Mashiro now. She's just so damn adorable. Really enjoyed this episode. The Sorata's realization at the end and Nanami figuring out that she has feelings for him made this episode that much better. "Oh, I get it. So you're a masochist!" |

| So Aoyama didn't even realise her own feelings up till now that just seems a bit strange to me she must have realised her feelings for Kanda a long time ago. Why else would she care so much about him. Also seems that Kanda is showing more feelings for her that for Shiina so much even that Shiina is a bit jealous of it and i think it will result in more rivalry between Aoyama and Shiina. Still Aoyama needs to be fast with her feelings Kanda won't remain single forever after all and there more girls around that seem to have feelings for him. The presentation Kanda was in didn't went very well he was to nervous it was his first importuned presentation after all. And screwed up because of that his feelings where down and he was thinking of giving up luckily his friends cheered him on to move forward. As long as he keeps trying there will be a second chance but there is no second chance for those who give up. The scene where they where hiding from the security guard was pretty funny especially the place where Kanda was between Aoyama and Shiina. Not to mention Aoyama wasn't wearing panties at that moment which Misaki used to tease her during the last few scenes and Kanda realising how close he was to her. Still i wonder how Misaki found out seeing the embarrassment of Kanda and Aoyama when Misaki was talking about it. |

Programming is not something extremely fun, let me tell you that up front, it is basically headache and hair pulling at its finest but if it is what you always wanted to do, then its a different story. Coding is the fundamental core of gaming and being able to integrate this with graphic design and sound is basically a game. The worst part of coding any programmer will tell you..., is that writing code is easy..., writing correct code is fucking hard lol..., cuz when you compile everything..., you biggest concern is not that it doesnt run and you get an error...., it is that it runs and spits out crap. A degree in fine arts is a great place to start if you dont have any coding experience, whilst a degree in computer science or even engineering can set you up in the same way. The arts degree is just more centered around gaming. IIRC Full Sail university have one such degree. If you want to try your hand at it..., i would suggest learning something basic and making a game from it. Like learning some C# code and using a C# compiler. With that it is possible to make some games for the old school Xbox. For my final project in com sci, we made a card game using that. Lastly, the type of games; If you have some skills in drawing and making sounds..., then making an indie game should be right up your alley. Indie games are quite popular these days. But if you wanna go awesomesauce, like God of War, Final Fantasy, even League of Legends..., you need to work with a team. It takes a team of 30-50 individuals to make a game like those anywhere from 3 - 10 years. Going from alpha to beta takes realllllllly long sometimes. My advise is to get to coding..., try it out. See if you like it and have the passion to keep at it. It's basically the only way to know if this is for you. Hope this was helpful in one way or the other. |

| Favorite episode so far. They managed to balance out the drama with comedy pretty well. Nice job, J.C Staff. On a side note, Aoyama looked so cute with glasses. I dig megane chicks. xD |

| No panties; no life! Watching it over now with the english subs..., the irritation factor i felt towards Sorata crying was reduced a bit. With that being said and with the exception of that scene, everything else was pure awesomesauce! The comedy and the SorataxShiina moments totally made this episode for me. Shiina is clearly getting jealous of the fact that Sorata keeps talking about Nanami and I'm looking forward to seeing her do some extreme things to get his attention. Misaki got alot of screen time this episode..., and did she ever deserve it. She is my 2nd favorite character in this anime and for good reason. Makes me WTF everytime i think Jin is so tsundere to her. Thank god the interactions of Nanami was so little and the focus of the romance was between the main pair. Hopefully the anime keeps this trend thru out the remaining episodes. Doing that will ensure a solid 8 in my ratings. The pool part of the anime was just pure win in every way. Shiina going all HNGGG wanting Sorata to compliment her on her mizugi. Then...., DAT SMILE! As for Misaki, i can't wait for Yumekichi to post the screenshots of her lol. Nanami without panties was just insane. If only Sorata had looked up lol. Finally Sorata realizing something all adults learn, failing at something is a good thing..., it means you have found one way (or more) of not doing something right. To quote Thomas Edison: I have not failed 1,000 times. I have successfully discovered 1,000 ways to NOT make a light bulb. Overall, it was a great episode. From the preview it seems we are finally getting to meet Rita, Shiina's old caretaker. We will also get to see the other member of Sakurasou in person most likely. Next episode should be interesting to say the least. Episode Naxcore: 4.51 out of 5 |

| The animation at the end when they were running back to Sakurasou got kind of crappy. Apart from that, the episode was good overall, but not great. They spend so much time on that random game designer/producer guy with how Sorata always stares at his picture, but we're still left in the dark about who he is and what's so special about him. I guess it's nice to have some mystery, but I don't like they way that they're building it up. There's just too little development over the course of 8 episodes. It's frustrating. Then we have Aoyama being kind of annoying and cute at the same time and not enough development with Mashiro. Both of them are getting more dull by the episode. I don't know how they've managed to do that, but I disapprove. |
