| Wee!! Im glad you like it. I find this a phenominal series. And its at least making you wonder what happens next :) I enjoy this episode because you are kinda feeling as Mai is feeling. Everything is being thrown at you and you don't know what is happening. You learn as she learns, and I think its very effective. |
| True True . Also the plots are good but i dont want to spoil you here so i'll leave it only like this . So you should be expecting some good stuff + good animation , romance / drama and comedy also . |

| God, I hate being so late to shows. But, this was a very well done first episode. Action packed and, just like Mai, I have no idea what is going on. Cool fight scenes. |

Seeing this came out in BD..though of taking a quick look. It was amazing! From the beginning's action to some ecchi situation like Yuuichi with Mai to Kuga with her Duran in action here=> it was incredible! That red star.....something to do with Mars? Something else? A legend? Fuka academy sure looks mysterious and that sword looks crazy...is it alive on its own? O_O What in the world? Sure would like to have a girl that loves me and is a Hime that protects me......already like Shiho here=> but also here when her powers awaken partially to protect Mikoto=> |

| I expected not to like it or be impressed, but I found it really interesting. I just hope the sexual things are handled realistically or tastefully, or at least aren't too in my face. |

| I first had contacted with May Hime when I got around to hear all of Yuki Kajura's OST, back in 2014, and ever since then I have enjoyed some of May Hime tracks, and I finally got around to see it, and what a great first episode it was. I got the 720p version, but for an anime of 2004, I have to say I m pleasantly surprised with the animation, and everything got my attention and I want to go an see more right way. Good stuff. |

| I liked the later episodes when they finally arrived at the school and introduced more characters. This episode set up the whole story for the series though. |
| @VanishingKira Even if this ends up as a waste of your time in term of entertainment, you'll still have watched a piece of recent history (it was the "SAO" of its period). Also, if you think to drop it, remember that there are two distinct parts in the series, the first being merely a preparation. Have a nice watch. |
| A good first episode! It was sexy, funny and most of all: exciting! I like how the series looks and hope the animation quality won't drop in the action sequences. The story (if you can call it that) seems like kinda dumb action schlock stuff without much substance, but as long as the rest is good, I don't mind. I wouldn't say I am hooked, but I'll give it a few more episodes. |

| Damn this is a really nice episode. The OP and ED are bangers. As a medical professional, I can vouch that it was the proper way to do CPR. Damn you dont see shots like these in todays anime  |
