Wow , this has just reached godly levels of anime .

But tbh the start of the episode was pretty dull but alright because it shows that Rikka is slowly accepting the fact that she needs to accept what had happened in the past and move on to the future , but then , she still couldnt take it then ran away .But still I think Touka just went overboard when she kicked Rikka . She did deserved the slap , but the kick is just too much .

And that train scene was just epic .
The execution of the things here are really nice .The atmosphere , the insert song and the lightings . But I still had to remove the subtitles in this part because I thought they were distracting the really nice mood .

Rikka was extremely cute in this episode as well .Like in here
Watching Rikka getting amused by anything is extremely nice to see and makes me HHNNNNNNGG !
And Rikka really is starting to mature when she is finally feeling how to be in love . She just dont know what it is yet .

And seeing a bit of Rikka's past was indeed perfect , showing us more reasons why/how Rikka got attracted to Yuuta .And perhaps why she became a chuu2 . And that flashback also gave us the the reason how Touka got that voice record used to blackmail Yuuta in the previous episode .

And this episode also showed hints about something about Kumin's past . Seems like she was all alone when she was a kid because she just tutored in private . So she wasnt able to interact with others in her elementary and middle school days .Maybe that's why she probably just wanted to forget everything around her , so sleeping is indeed the best method for her to do that .

And of course by the end of this season, we all know what will happen(yes , Im sure there will be either a season 2 sometime in the future) or they will end this one just like Hyouka .Either way is fine .

A splendid episode , that cliffhanger .I wonder what happens when Yuuta wakes up ?
ok . brb . *gets another bucket* dat nosebleed is just too much .My body wasnt prepared . @@!

Actually, your guessing is rather off. She used to go to kindergarten when she was a kid, where they usually have nap time. And then she took that habit over to home-schooling. Now that she's in high school she wanted to make a napping club. That's all.

Oh and, with her being home-schooled it sort of explaining why she doesn't mind the weird behavior of Rikka, Dekomori, and the others. She just sees that as people having their fun, and perhaps she even believe that it was quite normal for people to behave like that. lol

Meh, they're siblings. Who cares whether she kicks or slap her when they were fighting seriously. When I got into a fist-fight with my brother, we go all out. :P Poor Rikka? Heh.

If I have to endure an insane sister for years, I will just kick her twice as hard. Her dad is dead...wait, that is my dad too. She feels sad? As if she is the only who was sadden by his death. Her mom abandoned her...I am abandoned too. Her house is no longer there....mine too is no longer exist. But I still have to work to rise her, to put the foods on the table and let her buy alll of those items. And how did she treat me? Have she ever call me onii-chan for once?

I feel sad for Touka. If I was her, I would probably cried countless times. Rikka has it easy, she has the luxury to not accept the truth while Touka has no other choice than to accept it and take care of her little sister.

What more can you ask for.

When you said "Suffering" I thought you just meant like "Miserable, crying" which that show has copious amounts of.

Just watched episode 8.

Congratulations Woop Woop, you have are now OK rather than bad in my eyes, which is quite the step up for you.

I do wish they would have more animated fights like that as KyoAni seems to do a well job with those .

All Kyoto Animation animes are pretty much the same. Have seen one have seen them all.

What ever happened to that Hyouka show? I remember dropping it on episode 3.
As far as I remember it was another generic school anime.

The RikkaxYuuta moments were so cute ;_____; I just find them to be an adorable pairing <3 If only Yuuta would go back to being the Dark Flame Master, then they could be an epic chuunibyou couple~ ^__^

Then you clearly did not watch far enough. I don't understand why it was a generic school anime for you.

KyoAni's anime are not all the same. Most of them are bestsellers for a reason so I suggest you look into why. Then again. Considering that the only KyoAni anime you've seen is Hyouka and you've seen only three episodes of it.

I enjoyed this.

Poor Isshiki. Has there ever been such a note before? Bringing with such kindness such a terrible message.

I like Nibutani more and more each episode. I find her interesting in how she can just start getting along with people and now animals in such a quirky way.

And if Rikka is getting such a rush out of sniffing Togashi's clothes, she must have fallen for him completely.

Why? She's simply sick of Rikka being all insane.
That doesn't mean she should be assaulting people with ladels and kicks. In fact we've yet to see her sister ever show any compassion or comfort toward Rikka. Was she always like this even before their father died? Aside from one vague photo we never really see the two as sisters. Just two highly dysfunctional individuals who happen to live together.
Blackmailing Yuuta with that recording was also pretty low.
I think she shows a lot of compassion towards Rikka. But I also think that she's a bit uncertain as to how to proceed. I think she's trying hard though. Her own feelings are to keep her on the straight and narrow path, with guiding support from the ladle. But she's willing to let Togashi shake things up even though she's uncomfortable with it all. This self-induced inner conflict makes me want to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Hope for a kiss between Yuuta and Rikka sometime in the future, but if that kiss does happen, KyoAni will not highlight the kiss, never had done it in other works.

Rikka was about to explode and the poor thing doesn't know why! This was such a cute episode!

Kumin-senpai and her obliviousness to everything was so adorable. And Isshiki needs more screen time. He is win whenever he opens his trap! :D

Stupid Mori and Fake Summer rubbing it off was win in more than one way!

One of the best anime this season!

The show does has generic elements (like forming the club, etc.) but those points aren't as emphasized as other points to the show. With all the girls introduced in the show, they could've taken the easy way out by just making all the girls want yuuta's dick and we'd just call it a day there (and it would sell too). However, with chuunibyou they took the effort to differentiate each "couple." Whether it's the awkward interactions between the two airheads (kumin and isshiki), the conflict between dekomori and nibutani (who have grown to complement each other perfectly), or the adorable development between yuuta and rikka, this show is anything but a "generic school anime."

Trust me, I've watched enough retardedly generic school-related shows to have an idea. The thing that makes chuunibyou a great show is that to an average viewer, you're going to have an absolute blast watching every episode. (oh were the braincells lost in the beginning 5 eps in a good way)

As for the all kyoani shows are pretty much the same part, that is true to a certain degree. Basically they've never strayed from the "school" setting, but what they do with each show is unique in its own way. (ie: the touching, sad drama when they adapted clannad; the friendship themed k-on, the pure comedy of nichijou, the reference-reliant comedy lucky star, the mellow mystery/light romance of hyouka, and the absolute nonsensical with a romantic twist of chuunibyou to name some)

IT indeed got better in the second half (the first half was still nice though). specially the school festival arc and so on . It's prolly the 2nd best animation this year following Fate/Zero ... or even better .

Clearly the only thing Hyouka and Haruhi and Chuu2byou have in common is that they both consist of a club.

The clubs annoy you? Clubs because they are an after school/extracurricular activity in which students can do stuff related to the purpose of their club. Students can socialize, form bonds and all that. The reason why clubs are such hot topic is because of this. It doesn't have to do with school itself at all, just the meaning of the club. I really don't know how else to say this.

Well then, if you're not a fan of clubs/school drama then watch an anime that doesn't involve that kind of thing.

The club itself is not exactly what matters. It's what happens in it, how characters form bonds with each other, how to story moves on.

Stop complaining just because you dislike what people like and thinking your taste is superior. It's getting irritating.

Anyway, they could do better in first half, but I haven't saw anything like the second half for a while. Good diabetic romance, I missed you.

The episode was so-so. It would have been better if all the Chuunibyou moments didn't ruin the romantic ones. Wish it would have elaborated on last episode a bit more, but whatevs. Rikka's voice is one of my main reasons why I don't like her too much. D;

All the side characters are pretty much filler now. Only the main two matter :| Wish the side characters had a bigger part in the story actually. They're much better characters, except for Sanae.

Bah. Main character romance is dull. Wanted to see more Kumin!

As for Hyouka, I really liked the first half better. The second was just a bad attempt to give character and depth to the side members (Fukube a glaring example).

I'm not complaining. Its my personal opinion.
That being said, ever since they left school, last 2 episodes 7/8 > 1/2/3/4/5/6, well, at least for me.
