According to Anime!Anime!, Mercedes Benz has announced a collaboration project "Next A-Class" with Production I.G. An original short anime has been streamed on Youtube. New works of Production I.G for Next A-Class project will be revealed from December onwards.
Pretty legit... Hopefully it never makes it to American Tv....
Seems that on the site, they've got a shirt with the characters on it... And an artbook of sorts... Probably just storyboards... There also seems to be a little Figure of the chick in the advert... :|... lol.
The CGI was inserted almost seamlessly though there were some moments where it stood out noticably. While it shouldn't be too surprising since all the budget for this anime is condensed in a few minutes, this short was more impressive in terms of animation than the majority of TV series airng right now.
Only someone in Japan could come up with a story like that for a car commercial.
With that said, the animation quality was A-class (pukukuku), even better than for some of the top line anime this year. Sawashiro Miyuki is a must have if you try to sell anything, and the new Mercedes looks amazing. Already did even before this short.
I hope that if I ever get to buy an A-class Sawashiro will be the voice of the onboard navigation. It will be extremely dangerous but extremely cool.

Jizzy as you would call yourself because youre a dick The most butthurt award goes to you And clearly you havent watched that many shows thats why you cant determine if a show is unique or not Or maybe you're just a child who likes common stuffs where hero saves the day and guys gets all the girls. Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me
Holy crap, that was actually really awesome! Despite being a 6-minute Anime short promoting a Mercedes Benz car, I really liked the 'story' and characters. :D Animation was great, Production I.G. doesn't disappoint. Need more companies making anime shorts to promote their products. >=D
