| Halfway through the first season or through all 3 seasons? but like insan3soldiern said, you should have checked before hand that's one of the things about dubbed anime, sometimes they don't finish. And if it's really been 2 years I wouldn't hold my breath. |

| It's only dubbed by Animax and it's only season 1. Chances are the rest will never be dubbed. While originally I watched Nodame in Japanese as it aired, it's pretty much my favorite anime of all time - so I've checked the dub out myself in the past and I have to say it's actually pretty good. Not "good" in terms of a good dub, but it had a lot of charm (which is how I feel about a lot of Animax dubs, actually) - plus Pascal from Graces F is Nodame (which is extra fitting if you know both characters and their stories/personalities) so I couldn't help but love it. Hubert is there too, but he's the gay timpanist. So I was a little disappointed too. However, it seems "regular" with animax to only dub a season...which also sometimes isn't even the first. From what I recall they only dubbed season 2 of K-ON for some reason, entirely skipping the first. It's hard for me to find Animax dubs given I live in the US, so maybe I just couldn't find it. But on topic, yeah, you're fucked. Just watch it in Japanese - which was done amazingly well so you'll get used to it fast. One thing the dub edited out sadly was the gyabo and mukyas so you'll get to enjoy those now as well. I'm more surprised the show was never licensed in the US at all, it's such a popular and amazing series, but it's been years and never touched. |

| Nodame is one of my favourite animes of all time and I rewatched it in Dub just to have a different experience and was mightily disappointed! Nodame's voice doesn't match her character at all! |
| It is a shame that they didn't finish dubbing the whole series, especially since I really enjoyed the dub of the first season. Threw me off just a tad moving from dub to sub. I guess when I rewatch it sometime in the future I'll have to watch it subbed, even though the dub is one of my favorites. It had a lot of character and I thought that it really meshed well. |
