If sequels (Jormundgand & Bakuman) don't count then it's a tough match between psycho-pass and tonari no kaibutsu-kun so far, with stuff like Magi, Chuunibyou, GirlPan, Shinsekai Yori and Jojo battling for 3rd.
I probably regret this post by now.

I don't think there is one for me this season that stands above all, but there are a lot that are on the same level...and those would be:

Definitely Hunter x Hunter (2011) if it counts, I mean it's ongoing so technically it's part of this season right? And probably Psycho-Pass seeing how it's the show I look forward to the most.

I somewhat disagree with my past self. Psycho-Pass and Shinsekai Yori are still up there but Tonari's getting boring and Zetsuen doesn't pack the same punch as it did in its earlier episodes. So I'll say my favourites are now Psycho-Pass, Shinsekai Yori, Robotics;Notes, and Magi.

The pet girl of sakurasou is pretty nice, as well as Chuu2.
I haven't really had time to check out any other series, though.
