Ye, pretty surprised this was subbed so early this week.

Anyways, the beginning at the Talisman Salon was a bit strange but a nice watch. It's amazing how much technology has evolved imo in the PP world. Now for an obligatory chibi version of you-know-who

Also, loved the design of this:

Dat Spooky Boogie. LOL, that would of made a great costume for Halloween imo. Now that I think about it, this episode had some Halloween themes. Trick or Treat~

Ooh. Interesting. A case about the virtual people and taking over their place!
Can't wait to see more of this arc!

I thought Spooky Boogie is a babe, but no I was wrong... and she died.

This reminded me of summer wars, but that wasn't anywhere near as dark as this episode was.

A rather interesting cyber crime patrol this episode. One thing I will quickly mention is the following spoiler
Poor girl. Is she even dead or KO? If help is not done in thee end, she will be decapitated into pieces. Sick shit really if it happens and with the tomatoes chances are it might less she is saved in time. Might edit later.

Finally Makishima Shogo makes his appearance, I have been waiting for this guy.

1984, hmmm......maybe a little foreshadowing here?

I definitely didn't expect this setting...it's a little like Accel World XD

So the plot moves, finally the main antagonist appears.

Anyway this episode was pretty nice, and it seems we have a creepy villain with fetish for cutting people to mini pieces.

BTW Yumekichi u should put that pic under spoiler...I don't think that people would like seeing a creepy pic like that every time they scroll up or down XD

Great to see some plot development and see the series start to head toward a central theme and plot.

Besides some dumb characters and silly faces (really, what's with the strangled face?), this was a good episode. It continues to build the world.
I have my own anime blog. It's called Anime Viking. Hope you'll you read it!

As long as it's not blood and I get not to see the decapitation. I would prefer a storm in with "EVERYONE FREEZE!" Kind of thing.

I can't say that the setting in Psycho-Pass is completely like the one in 1984 but ya it's definitely going in this direction from the looks of it.

I am pretty sure that the whole point of the scene to make the viewer feel disturbed. The writer did say he wanted to create a show that would traumatize kids for life...lol. So I assume you should expect more stuff like this.

Though I must say after watching this episode I had strange craving for tomato juice....

I didn't mean it as in it looks disturbing, I just thought it looked odd, the whole scene was fine until she stuck out her tongue, that just looked kinda weird haha.

Spooky Boogie avatar looked epic, and she was a fine character IMO.Too bad some megane-psycho killed her.Anyway, main antagonist makes his appearance.
Oh, and its me or animation in last scenes was really weak? it looked really stiff imo.

Kind of strange episode but it was still good.
Really though... the facial expression of the Spooky Boogie girl after she died looked so ridiculous and kinda gross tbh.

Cliffhangers everywhere! :D Though I think this white-haired man will be main villain just for couple of episodes or it could be just two-ep arc. Well, now to wait for next week :)

Despite various complaints about the "obvious" flaws of the system, the reasons why it is accepted keep piling up. This episode we get told that unemployment is basically nonexistent anymore since everyone gets assigned to a job or at least gets the opportunity to work. The life in this future is one of comfort, no need to think for yourself, Sibil does the work for you. Like in reality people are willing to let some unpleasant things slide like the lack of anonymity if there are enough advantages to balance them out.

Wow that was a creepy death. Murders are so much more scary if they take place rather than " happened"

I agree seeing them makes them seem more real. Good episode, too bad spooky boogie had to die her avatar was cool. Bunch of creeps who seem to be obsessed with online avatars they must be really insane to care about avatars so much.

The blender at the end was a nice touch.

Quite interesting to hear this but how far will he go is interesting cause he has big eyes of a certain board watching him. So far a lot was allowed but remains to see how much more.

The expression of the girl being strangled is on PAR levels of the series Another.

I actually didn't like this episode for some reason.

How come there were a couple of people with high psycho pass in the party?

They were connected to spooky boogie because they liked the fact that she was apparently an anarchist, thus making it likely they were also anarchists.

Great episode with a really cool premise. I loved the investigation at the house and how they used the virtual sofa's positioning. I'm kinda surprised that they have a recurring villain, I was sort of expecting this show to be a new case each episode. I can definitely see the connection to 1984 through the use of the various ways the citizens are monitored. Really looking forward to next weeks episode!

Well, the psycho pass represents the person's state of mind, so I guess they were all unstable from the beginning? Or it's as Tsunemori said to Kougami, that if you think about murder that it clouds up your psycho pass.

They hold anarchist views, and amongst others who hold the same views. I'd imagine quite a few of them were having discussions about it and how they felt about society.
