| As weird as it sounds i would actually recommend a shounen series to start off with. reason beeing that the first anime one watches, if enjoyed, have somewhat an impact on what you will watch later on. My experience is that people who watch these kind of series often have a more open mind on anime and a less biased one. i would go with One Piece or Naruto. Maybe that's just me though. After that you should pick up anime like death note, code geass, FMA. Anyway, it might be correct to set the list a little lower : ) |
| I think it depends on the people too, though. Maybe shounen, comedy, action, and slice-of-life animes. Like Code Geass, Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, and many more. I don't really know. |

| It just depends on the person and what sort of genres they would like. For example I got a close friend to watch Sword Art Online because he really loves MMOs. Now he really likes anime and almost watched as much as I have. I got another friend of mine to watch OHSHC (she borrowed my DVD which had all the episodes on it) and she liked it. |

Yeah I've gotten 2 friends started off with AoT Anything with nice art and good animation, but if I had to name some, in no particular order: Darker than Black, Deadman Wonderland, Fate/stay night, Durarara, Code Geass, Highschool of the Dead and as above; Attack on Titan. |
