| Ouch.. this animation is pretty stiff (no pun intended) and considering that the live-action adaptations of the novel have a very artistic influence to them this animated one does not. Which is such a shame since it could've looked way darker and matched the theme, which is quite the topic that a lot of reviewers mention in regards to the live action ones. Instead it looks kind of like a Vanilla series show with very little to no change in color grading in most of the backgrounds, empty huge rooms and a distinct lack of difference between the bodies of women. |
