Will People view this series poorly due to Censoring/waiting for BDs
| So do you think that people will view this show in general poorly due to the censoring and having to wait for BDs? |

| AT-X is slipping, we just seen Hagure last season and Dakara with everything uncensored to the extent of Japanese law, then we get this mess, something that should get the same treatment that ends up near unwatchable. |

They even censor hentai. =/ They leave the tits and ass uncensored of course, but everything else is blurred out. A hentai needs to go through a certain licensing process to get fully uncensored. Not entirely familiar with the process, but I think it mostly has something to do with getting shipped to the U.S. since Americans wouldn't be too keen on the concept of censored porn. |

| This is hard, we have a lot of readers here like myself, so we know how the censored scenes look like uncensored but it sure is annoying when even some delicate panty shots are censored. Despite the ridiculous censoring I think it's still worth watching, I for one enjoyed the crap out of episode 3 and Darkness is really more about plot and certain relationships. |

| I don't think people like it when there is a streak of light covering half the god damn screen every 5 minutes. It makes u feel like ur missing a lot. Despite that, I still enjoyed the series. I'll watch it later uncensored for the "plot" |

| I was able to handle it for a bit. But enough is enough. EP 4 is really ridiculous with the censoring. At this point most of the show is blurred. Too much for me. As much as I like the anime. I will have to wait till the uncensored is out... Oh well. Other anime I suppose. |
| I ended up finishing it after all. Definitely re-watching when ATX comes out or whatever. Uncensored. Nice series. Still so much more need from the anime though. So hopefully there will be more seasons. |

| Censorship in ecchi anime is funny when it's done to a level of tact or irony, but when it's done THIS BADLY and it makes it unwatchable...then nah man, it ruins the reasons alot of people watch ecchi anime i.e. for the ecchi. I miss shows like Girls Bravo which were mad shameless and funny, not afraid to push the boundaries but still have ok stories and funny moments. Closest to that is High School DxD which is over the top and doesn't give a fuck, haha. But i feel that if this 'light rays of modesty's bs becomes the norm then we can say goodbye to good ecchi anime, at least until the blu ray releases. *sigh* I was always afraid that my anime watching days on the internet would be hindered in some way, but i never expected this, haha. I like To Love Ru, the first season and OVA were damn good fun, but after Motto To Love Ru and a bit of To Love Ru Darkness, i honestly feel like it's unwatchable. I may like the story but I aint gonna lie about the ecchi cause I feel like that's half the point I'm watching it. And if that's censored every 5 minutes then damn, haha |

| I think this show lost its chance to be extremely popular from Fall 2012 due to the censorship, and it's not going to recover. It sold well in Japan, but it just never became popular among MAL, ecchi watchers, etc. |
