| This is turning into one of the biggest teases in anime history. I'm afraid of what it might do to the series though. It promises to be perhaps the most powefull monogatari arc, and it airing after everything else, while being a prequel, might completely dull everything that was aired before it. Either that or Kizumonogatari itself will not live up to the expectations. |

| As much as I want to get hyped, I'd wait till the countdown ends. In 2013, I recall Kubota Mitsutoshi saying to wait a little longer. So, maybe the time has finally come and we'll hear something definitive soon? There is a good chance of Kizumonogatari airing within 2016 though. |

| Inb4 Madoka spinoff w/ monogatari characters But seriously, official site links to it, hopefully we get a release date.. at this point it might get a screening in japan only wouldn't surprise me though. Shaft did mention they will adapt all monogatari novels.. well sure, but kizu's announcement has been around for too damn long. It's about time. | I won't be so sure. Just checked the official website of the theater it's supposed to premiere on and I don't see anything like Kizumonogatari's tickets being printed. You can see the list of movies the theater will be releasing here. Perhaps, the website actually had the ticket on their listing for a period of time, but removed it soon after. |
