| Grace slowly woke and pulled Zero to her chest, shielding him. |

| Kai smirks. "Good I thought for a moment there I was going to end up being killed if something had happened to you kid." |

| Grace laid him down but kept his head in her lap. |

| Grace paled and ran to Zero. "Zero, baby," she said taking the knife out and compressing the wound. "Baby, please stay with me." |

| Grace put her hand on his cheek. "I'm not leaving any part of you, Zero," she said holding the boy to her chest. She knew there was nothing she could do now to save the child. |

| Grace wiped her eyes and bolted for the door. She ripped it open and ran as hard s she could until she tripped and fell down a steep incline. During the fall, she hit her head and sustained multiple bruises, cuts, gashes, contusions and even a concussion. When she stopped a foot below, she stood slowly and grimaced. |

| Grace ran and found a car. She flashed her badge and drove herself to the location Zero had given when they first arranged the meeting. |

| Kai nods. "Yeah, but what about...?" He didn't get to finish his sentence. "Never mind then. Let's head for the warehouse. They'll need our help." |

| Kai got in the car. "Hurry Soren, I've got a bad feeling our allis might be in trouble." |

| Kai looks at Soren. "Good going, now let's go." |

| Kai got out of the car with his gun. He ran up to the door of the warehouse and was standing next to Soren. |
