| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Thoughts, rants, opinions? Kind of expected, although I have to say that Kittan went out much better than Kamina. Or maybe it just seemed more epic as I personally didn't expect him to beable to use the Giga Drill Breaker. And the "Ro Ro Fight Da Power" w/ classical accompanyment also added to the feel. Too bad sources say it'll be on the next OST. The preview shows us hints of "LOL GAINAX'D". |

RIP Kittan ;_; the preview is really intriguing me....i read on 4chan that it has something to do with nia's memories/the way she percieves how things happened or something. now that could be true or a lie, i couldn't understand anything that was going on. if it's fake, they have good imaginations, lol. i kind of hope we get Gainax'd though....SO many main/important side characters have died in this show...:( |

| Another great episode! Boota finally proves he's a badass, Kittan goes down in a burst of manlyness (his Giga drill breaker was awesome), Gurren-Laggan becomes bigger and stronger, and Simon gets a new pair of glasses. The glasses would look weird on any normal person, but i think they fit Simon quite well. Poor Yoko... every man she loves ends up dying soon after.... I guess the quote of the episode is "You gain experience through shooting blanks". In any other situation it would have sounded strange... |
| HOLY CRAP! this was an AMAZING episode. Its made of GAR and Manly Tears! Kittan went out in an incredible way! And Simon makes those glasses look good. Damn Gurren Lagann! Will you ever stop amazing me? I don't think a normal human can handle this much GAR. |

| I really didn't want Kittan to die, he was the last of the Ganmen pilots that joined after leaving the first village. The glasses are mad pimp though, I don't see why people aren't liking them. |

| the glasses are just as funny and stereotypical and cheesy as the whole series... nonetheless, I can't stop myself from thinkng that the whole series is the essence of awesome, nor do I want to stop myself from thinking this. SO i guess the glasses are cool... lol this anime is definitely the best... |

| BOOOTA POWAAAAA!! That was awesome. It sucks how much Viral is limited though. I feel sorry for him, he can't have kids. We'll that could be a blessing depending on the perspective, but it's nice to at least have that choice. No spiral, no babies. Tis sad. |

| My favourite character died in this series. I thought his exit blowed though. The kiss was just a rip off scene of the Kamina Yoko kiss way back before he died in episode 7 or 8 (I know he died in 8, but I can't remember if the kiss was the episode before). Then he did the Giga Drill Breaker, couldn't he have got his own epic final move? |
