All are otaku animes, but they do give me a feel-good feeling.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.. Obvious answer, and I'm sure you've had it recommended to you before. For uplifting and inspirational feelings, it takes the cake.

Judging by your list you're not one to hate things purely because it's popular like plenty of others... So I say give it a shot.

Seriously, TTGL was so mood-lifting it made me cry from passion overload.

Yup, Aria.

Azumanga Daioh

edit: Minami already mentioned.

Several of the mentioned recommendations are slice of life, probably best route to go for the quick feel good.

Agreed.

Also, give Toshokan Sensou a try. It has a bit of everything in it, but overall I had a good feeling while watching it. Great anime.

Chobits made me so happy in the first half or so of the series, it gets a bit sad later but it made me smile continuously in the beginning

Kamisama Kazoku also was really happy feeling for me to watch it

Lucky Star has sort of a fry your brain feeling, gets rid of bad feelings and thoughts from its distracting talking lol

@ Rethice: I've heard good things about it, and it is one of the best rated anime series on MAL, so I'll probably give it a try.
@ Happy: I'm currently reading the YKK manga, and for me it's more bittersweet than happy ;)
@ Bissen: Check my list. I have watched it already =P
@ Forever: I have seen it. Just hadn't added it to my list for some reason =P

Thanks for the recommendations everyone, I'll be sure to check some of them out ;)

TTGL just gave me a feeling of satisfaction and accomplsihment after I completed it.

I would also recommend Great Teacher Onizuka, the actions of the main character, Onizuka made me feel very good after watching.
