| For some reason, the new assistant didn't seem that weird to me. So that's how Jun's parents met. His father was a truck driver, and his mother was formerly a country bumpkin who climbed her way to fame as a mangaka. That new guy was in one of Narumi's flashbacks once. Most likely an old colleague, and less likely an old flame of hers. Incoming development on Narumi's backstory. Well, development is always welcome. |
| I dunno, maybe it's just me but the new assistant seems to be pretty normal to me. Maybe her way of speech was lost in translations (I think of someone like Sussie from Genshiken maybe) Nice background chapter though, his mom's past was almost ideal story from her point of view. Good Narumi got praised, she needs it more anything. And the food she did this time was also delicious. But that man... I wonder, was she harassed by him becuase of her looks in her previous work? Was that the reason she quit? I'm kinda curious. |
