| Hit this episode on my rewatch. Yup, it's still freaking badass! I liked how four episodes ago until now the Phantom Troupe (and Uvogin in particular) were made out to be these amazing, super strong fighters, owning the mafia guys left and right, only to now be absolutely demolished by Kurapika! It really puts things into perspective. I might prefer the Gon / Hisoka fight in terms of choreography and animation, but this one takes the cake in terms of how high the stakes are and just how cool it is. The German dub did an excellent job, too! Kurapika finally getting emotional was done very well, and I liked Uvogin's voice a lot. On a side note, the funny little bits with Gon and Leorio, as well as Uvogins silly side were also delivered rather well. The German HxH dub holds up very well and is of a similar quality as the FMA:B dub or the Cowboy Bebop dub, if you've seen those. Simply amazing! And the funny thing is, I remember this only being the start of the awesome ride that's Yorknew City arc. It's hard to believe that the rest can reach this level of excitement, but trust me! It does! |

| Kurapika's fight with Uvo was overwhelmingly amazing! His extreme condition multiplying the strength in addition to his Emperor Time giving him full mastery of all Hatsu Archtypes made him into a very powerful adversary that can rival or even surpass that of Hisoka. He had become the judge, jury, and executioner for the Spiders and his first inmate died as he lived, beaten and crushed to death like a trapped animal. The only downside to Uvo dying is his bounty will most likely stay unclaimed because of his body being buried in the middle of nowhere. |

| Damn now that is an overpowered af specialist ability. Nice that they explained the chains thing where Kurapika couldn't use them on anyone else. His eyes have only gone red when he's raging about the Phantom Troop tho, so he's not gonna be able to use any of his op stuff unless he's really mad it seems. |

| I'm in awe right now. I though Gin and Killua was killing it in terms of growing more powerful and mastering basic Nen usage, but to think that Kurapika pulled something that unexpectedly big, mastering every type of Nen there is. He's definitely the strongest one we've seen in the exam, maybe only behind Illumi and Hisoka if not on the same level. But then again, I could be bluffing. |
| That fight was awesome, I didn't expect it to be graphic at least more than the other fights we saw (not that I'm complaining). Kurapika has become one of the strongest, I can't wait until he meets up with Gon, Killua, and Leorio. (I still can't get it out of my head that Kurapika isn't a girl, he just looks so much like one.) |

| just when the twist of kurapika ten had get me surprised they succeeded explain it right away. I must say kurapika became much darker character than kilua this episode, wonder if since he can't use his ten on others than the phantom troupe how he's gonna participate the rest of the story after this arc. and it's still pretty strange to hear Light's voice on the phantom troupe boss. |

| Fantastic episode and brilliant moments for Kurapika's character everywhere Really loved how the fight went on and how Kurapika's hard training finaly paid off with such fantastic skill mastery and understanding opponents every weakness. I guess he deserved death since there really wasn't any other way to conclude this fight |
