@ pqueolrac not really i would say there are big things that are diffrent from them in some ways same in others but u cant say they are the same

I realize after creating this poll/topic, Yukito always at the last in almost ANYTHING, would other Keys' male lead stand a chance against Yuuichi and Tomoya with the likes of Riki Naoe (Little Busters), Kouhei Orihara (One- PreKeys project), and Masaki Yamada (Dousei - PreKeys project)?

I'd go with Yukito if Air hadn't ended the way it did....

And I'd go with Yuuichi if he was as badass as Tomoya.

I voted for Tomoya. He's probably one of my favorites leads overall, not just from Key series. I love all three of them though. I just wish Yukito was in more episodes.

tomoya is more dimensional for a harem lead. he has his problems with his father and his injury and his family after nagisa's death. he's more believable as a person because he grows throughout the series. he's my favourite.

After seeing what all three are like, I prefer Yuuichi Aizawa the best, he may not be perfect when it comes to each of his relationships with the main girls, but he always does what he can for each of them, and that's what makes him believable as a character. He is quite multi-dimensional as a character; being funny, sarcastic, sensitive, and sweet-natured, Yuuichi develops in many ways throughout the series, from the way he was when he was a boy to a young man. Yuuichi will always be my favorite of the Key male leads.

I only like Tomoya. He just seems the most interesting and better detailed. I don't like Yukito and Yuuichi that much. Yukito's boring and also mean at times, Yuuichi's a wimp and tries a bit too hard to be funny. I love Tomoya's sarcasm and his sense of humour. He also has better friends than Yuuichi does.

Tomoya has far more character than the other two so I like him the best. Yukito's cool but boring. Yuuichi's funny and kind but that's about it. You don't really see another side to him. Tomoya is everything. He's bitter and sarcastic but also hilarious, kind, sweet, caring, lonely and sad and also sentimental. You see so much of his personality revealed in After Story it's unbelieveable. From a cold-hearted person who never showed any emotion whatsoever to funny to happy to miserable. There's so much about him and you actually feel really sorry for him. I didn't really feel as sorry for Yuuichi as I did for Tomoya. I can see why Tomoya got the most votes and anyone who says otherwise you really need to understand his character. It's no wonder he keeps winning on all these polls.

i voted for Yuuichi x3 he's definitely my favorite male character from Key :)
in my opinion he has the strongest personality!! also he's very sweet x3

this is a really hard decision, they all seem very similar, but i know they are not all the same. Yuuichi blends into society more than Yukito and Tomoya, and yet, they all have their hard humor, though i love how Tomoya's humor was in the first Clannad series, he really roasted Youhei really hard sometimes xD

but by all means, i assure you this is not an easy decision, though, if i had to eliminate Yukito, i would, since i just don't have as much of an attachment to him (Air is way too short of a series), and so generally, i guess i identify with Tomoya over Yuuichi, and considering from both series of Clannad, there is so much depth and plot development, that i have to pick Tomoya.

though, even though Yuuichi does tend to be an ass to some people, he does seem a bit more caring to others in general, consideing Tomoya only cares about Nagisa and close related things to her, Yuuichi progresses faster and becomes a caring person much faster than Tomoya.

by default, i am picking Tomoya, since i have much more emotion invested in his anime, Clannad <3
