| I loved the second half of this episode! Angel vs. Gray was so intense, even with Angel's "light" magic it turned out to be so dark, especially when she wanted Gray to kill her with the Ice Scythe. Love Angel, I hope she appears in a canon arc soon!!! |
| damn... this was super dark by Fairy Tail standards, even borderline philosophical. Not sure how it's possible to dislike this episode (unless you dislike Fairy Tail in general, in which case you wouldn't be this far into the series). Is it just me or has numerous parts of this arc been taking jabs at various religious notions? Maybe when Angel dies she is "reincarnated" as Reki from Haibane Renmei. |

| Angel in my opinion had some very cute expressions, like a total Angel. I found her to be somewhat weak, idk it's like her summonings were intentionally weak. Overall I liked how she gave in and showed her frail side. All this time she was putting this facade of wrong reasoning. Honestly she would fit well in Fairy Tail, probably more or so in the Thunder Legion or partner up with Juvia. Michelle is just having a field say with Natsu and Elfman, the same Natsu that absorbed Laxus's magic. So Michelle can't feel pain, hmm... |
