Yes, this episode was awesome~ :)
There were a lot of raw emotions in the episode from Al's feelings toward Ed and Ed being concerned for Al. And to add something else to the mix -- Winry was there too and she was worried about both of them. Al's role in this episode was just amazing <3

Amazing sig set thanks to -DraGonZ-

I really felt for Al in this episode. We finally got to see his true emotions.
Kudos for Kugimiya Rie's brilliant voice acting for putting across that angst.

Yeah, I couldn't understand why he would doubt Ed, especially with Winry there to verify it. I guess he just really vulnerable right now. Poor Al. Hughes was awesome and Ed's drawings were so cute. Alicia was so sweet. great episode.

I agree! It's all butcher's fault for making AL doubt.

Poor poor Al. But can I blame him? Not really...
I hope things get resolved, but I have no idea how long this will last. One more episode? Ten episodes? I can't predict right now.

yes, I was one of the people who gave this episode a 1.
i hate these episodes with a passion.
not because of all of the emotions and stuff, that was beautifully done.
but the ending was so lame, and it happens so often on TV shows.
all Ed had to do was say something, but alas, writers feel they need to silence characters at the most ridiculous moment to lengthen the plot.

unbelievable

seen it a million times and i have hated it a million times.
am glad others enjoyed the episode though.

It's hard to believe how can fun and deep emotions be implemented in the same episode. And the way it's done is getting better and better.

I agree with the last few, Great, no, Amazing episode minus the ending. I don't like it when it comes to the point where you have the option of just saying it, what's to lose, the guy is about to flip out anyway. Or keep quiet and make the feelings get worse.

But I can't let an ending cliche take what was from the rest of the show.

Great episode.

i really do wonder if Al is just a artificial memory of the real Al implemented by Ed.

yeah definitely getting emotional, at least winry stayed strong for the two.

Same. In fact I'm paused on that scene now, haven't even watched the whole episode. Just had to come here and see if anyone else noticed. Great cameo.

i am every time again surprised how much time has past between events seeing Elicia make me realize that they are actually already like 3 or 4 years further from Nina's and the dogs death.

good episode again with some good emotions shown Al got the right to question things cause it is kinda weird of course but i don't actually believe Ed has created his memories since many people already knew he was his brother before Ed even had the change to tell this people.

Al identity crisis is much more credible in this serie. There is more elements tied to it. In brotherhood it was really rushed.

This serie is better than I expected I wonder what theyll do at the end of it.

I couldn't imagine living inside a body like that for so long. He's been tolerating it for 3 years and it would mess with you a little. I kind of understand why he's acting like that. Your soul was bound to metal with alchemy, and who knows what that could mean for him. After years of thinking about it and feeling out of place because he literally doesn't have a real body, his feelings had to come out. I'm glad that was in the series, I was expecting some kind of rant from him eventually.

Poor Al...I kinda think he's over reacting and not thinking straight though. I suppose it would be possible for someone like Ed to pull it off, but Al should know better...

I love how Ed is always worried about Al before himself <3

And I'm glad Winry came back! They should show her more ^_^

That milk scene was funny too xD

Always great to see Winry! And that was very nice what Hughes said to her.

I can understand why Al would be freaking out about his missing memories and body and possibly being an Al "imitation", or whatever. But at the same time it frustrates me when characters who are close and have been allies for years, there for each other through thick and thin, etc, suddenly turn on each other because of a few words spoken by someone else who is clearly an enemy. I mean, who is more trustworthy?

Anyway, it will be interesting to see how Al bounces back from this and/or how Ed brings him back. -- 5/5

When you've been stewing in thoughts like that for so long you can hit a "point of no return" where you doubt what anyone says that contradicts them; they just become "in on it" too.

Very good ep.

Episode slow paced and peaceful context, however pleasant in use. The narrative finally comes to the point on the mystery of Al, I want to know the truth, I can not wait. The dialogues will be effective on the whole, the narrative it benefits all.

Maybe if Ed just told Al what he was going to say that night he wouldn't of jumped off the building? Al's being over dramatic and this situation is formed from a misunderstanding, whole scenario is dumb.

Would of been a lot better if we could see Al's introspection as his mentality broke and he stopped believing he once existed rather than just flashing us this flashback every once in awhile.

AL is right though, who's to say they're not just playing a trick on him, he wouldn't know.

I couldn't imagine feeling like that. Not having your actual body for so long will no doubt cause an existentialist crisis for anyone, considering this happens in everyone's life at one point or another. I'm sure it's even more amplified considering the complications involved.
