FINALLY, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PENGUINDRUM IS LICENSED.
I'm having a total fangasm over here. Especially considering that's it's gonna be a Blu-Ray release. Just hoping it's not gonna be dub-only though.

Wow, Mawaru Penguindrum actually licensed now. Anime being licensed don't really make me happy or upset but everyone's been wondering when Penguindrum will be licensed and when I think about it, it's unusual that its hasn't been licensed. Judging by popularity, age, and all that.

So I take it Penguindrum is getting a dub? I'll probably start watching it once the dub comes out.

Oh, and of course:

Sucks that Letter Bee isn't getting a dub. Might pick it up sometime way later, but MAWARU PENGUINDRUM BLU-RAYS BECOME MY BITCH NOW!

Day one buy for Penguindrum. Though, I had been wishing that Nozomi would pick it up: they're superior to any other company when it comes to the packaging, and we could've hoped for some sort of a freebie included, like the phone strap or the notebook that they did for their Maria-sama release.

Sentai licensed something that's actually popular and will probably sell well? That's different.

Sentai Filmworks has licensed so much over the last year or so. Most of it has been between terrible and mediocre.

But finally they have done something amazing. GODDAMN PENGUINDRUM PEOPLE. AWWW YEAHHHH.

The fact is, Ninja Scroll will probably sell much, much better than Penguindrum and Letter Bee combined. It's been out of print for a while and it's getting a blu-ray release and a competent DVD release as well (Manga US was terrible). It's a big title and one that will inevitably help them get profits.

Anyways, I'll be picking up both Penguindrum and Ninja Scroll on blu-ray. Very exciting stuff.

Actually excited for Penguindrum and Tegami Bachi. I'm yet to watch Ninja Scroll so I can't really say anything about it, but great news!

License rescue. Re-acquisition. Etc.

I don't normally post them, but these were all announced together, so I decided to just throw it in.

Agh god, why can't the light novels be localized? I'd buy all three in a heartbeat...

The covers epitomize the aesthetics of the show, if not more so

Is he behind the dubbing masterpiece of Guin Saga?

If so then I'll just watch the dub for lolz and watch the subbed version the rest of the time when I get the DVDs
