| When I say an anime almost made me feel asleep, I mean that it bored me out of my mind and made me want to turn it off and go do something else. I've never literally fallen asleep while watching an anime (or while actively doing anything for that matter). |
| I've fallen asleep while watching anime a few times. The first (and most standout) anime is Haruhi. First two times I tried, I fell asleep 5 minutes into the the first episode. Third time, I managed to pass the first episode and then fell asleep 2 minutes into the second episode. Second one would be GitS 2: Innocence(?). To be fair, I was fairly deprived of sleep and that was likely the reason why I kept dosing off. |

| I used to marathon episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh DM back when I used to make VHS tapes of it and take out the commercials and stuff. I had like 5 VHS tapes where I gathered all the episodes(or attempted to) on 8 hour VHS tapes xD I'm sure that counts for falling asleep to something considering the fact that they were definitely very long :P |

| Well if you're tired then eventually the subs are going to lull you to sleep. I often intentionally fall asleep to watching anime because it helps me not think about the things going on in my life which would keep me up otherwise. |
