Basically, a group of kids made a facebook acc with a fake girl picture and they started talking to him. After a while, they ask him to show her (the group of guys) his dick and he took the picture. So yeah, a bunch of assholes pranked him and now got his picture up to show everyone. The assholes showed their friend (this girl) the picture and she posted it online (Tumblr) and everyone's liking it and reblogging it for fun.

Could the girl get arrested for doing that?

They're all under 18 by the way, including the dick-boy.

For all the guy knows, he could have been talking to a 40-year old male pedophile or a prepubescent girl on facebook. And he actually sent a picture of his dick to somebody he has NEVER met in person? ROFL. What did he hope to gain by that, getting a few nude shots from a stranger online? It would literally be no different than google'ing the shit yourself.

The guy should be arrested for being an idiot. But seriously, unless they put his full name in the blog, I doubt the girls can get in trouble. He purposely took the picture himself and sent it to a stranger. The fact that he was unaware of their true nature is irrelevant.

It might be considered harassment so they could get in a lot of trouble. Not sure about being arrested though.

But really who's dumb enough to fall for that....kinda funny though

It's classified under possession and distribution of child pornography. Yes it is illegal.
As a child, I was told that society is a melting pot of talents; knowledge and experience combined to form important alloys that will contribute to mankind. When I got to highschool, however, I thought that it's more like a river in which the water represents our peers while we ourselves are the stones in the river. Constant erosion by mindless majority sheeping has made us lose our unique edge. After I hit the age of 18, I realized that I've been wrong all along. Society is no melting pot. Society is no river. Society is a person, a very skilled rapist, and he has fucked us all.

How old is the dick-boy anyways?
It's his fault for being so naive and making such a foolish mistake.

I don't think they could get arrested because it isn't such a serious case of cyber-bullying.

I don't find it amusing though. That boy would probably won't enjoy his youth after that incident.
But I don't pity him either.

Did you even read the OP? They're all under 18. It's not uncommon for teens (these days) to send each other nude pics. I have never heard of a "child" getting arrested for "child" pornography.

A similar type of case has been prosecuted in the UK, actually - I'll try and find the case if I remember its name. Not under CP law, but to do with the deception involved behind procuring the picture. i.e. the picture is being shown to those who were not meant to be seeing it.

Whether the girl/friends will get prosecuted is another story, though.

In reality, yes, but to be honest that won't happen since he will only make it worsen if he calls the police with it, the guy has his school life ruined until he goes to college, and then he'll still need to hope nobody will recognise him. The guy is also pretty handicapped dumb for actually doing that, if he thought about it, no matter what, you wouldn't do that.

Mean? Yes. Funny? Yes.

If the victim got death threats or threats that plan to hurt the victim from the cyber bully would be more serious.
I take back my words about it not being that serious because I didn't know that minors could be arrested for distribution of CP.
And they might get charged for reasons such as identity theft etc.

Seems like the girls could be arrested after reading some articles about cyber bullying, maybe it depends in different countries.

Couldn't this also technically fall under identity theft?

But at the very least it's cyber-bullying and is getting taken more seriously these days.

Either way, he should report it.

Actually, I see that as one of the worst things to do in this situation, if he reports it to the police or whatnot, he'll call even more attention to himself and he'll be bullied for even longer, if he just keeps a low profile for the remaining years in his current school and start anew in his next one, he'll be fine.

and he doesn't get bully, just cyber bully online and whenever they see him in public, they don't even talk about it, they just talk behind his back. He knows but what can he do? Nothing...

It's not the worst thing he can do, he's obviously been getting bullied before this, this isn't the "first stage" that some people do to bully someone.

This has clearly gone on too far and needs to be dealt with.

I absolutely say he reports it, to the police, to his school etc.

People have to learn they can't do stuff like this and get away with it.

He's known as the dick-guy now. They don't really bully him face-to-face about it, just laugh at him cause of his tiny wee-wee. They just spread that picture around. That's basically all they do. Spread the picture around for people to see and laugh. I really feel bad though.

But since people are talking about it as @Ventro said, how far do you think his reputation will farther sink if he reports this to the police? It can't be undone any more, or do you think the police can make a whole school shut up? Things like that tend to fade over time.

The guy who originally took the picture of himself can get in trouble for distributing "child porn" even if it's his own winky.

The guys he sent it to can also get into trouble since they showed it to that girl.

The girl can get into trouble for sending the picture out.

So, If the fake girl guys hadn't done anything with the picture only the first guy could get into trouble.

It sure does.

Although it can be argued that this particular incident crossed the line by being illegal, the best thing to do would be to put it behind him, rather than make more enemies in school by getting the police involved.
