English is my first language. I'm just now gaining fluency in Spanish. I start Japanese next term. If all goes well, I'll try and delve into a fourth language around the time I graduate.

Mandarin's my family language so I can understand Mandarin pretty clearly but i'm not that good at speaking it. I'm still learning how to read and write Mandarin too.

I'm probably considered an expert at English except for those difficult words to say that no one knows why the heck they're spelled that way cause you can't pronounce them at all!!

But I can speak VERY little Spanish
A bit of Japanese (doesn't everybody here know at least a little)
A bit of French cause I took it last year

and I know a bit of German(ese) cause I've got some online friends who are Germanese and are teaching me some German...they are my 'sensei'

I speak Russian as my native language; of course, I also speak English. I study Latin right now, and probably will study something new in the future just because it's, well, new. It's probably going to be Italian or Japanese.

Fluent in Dutch and English.
After 5 years of german at school I can understand some of it. And after 3 years of french (and lots of bad grades) I can count to 10 and tell people I don't actually speak french.

(I suck at languages)
