Do you mark stuff you watched as a kid as complete?

I notice a lot of people marking stuff like Dragon Ball Z as complete. I'm wondering if they all actually saw it all, or if they just watched some episodes as a kid and marked it as complete.

I marked pokemon, digimon, and yugioh as complete. Im pretty sure i watched all of them, at most i might have missed 1 or 2 episodes, they were important to me when i was younger.

I do not, that would be far too much pokemon and yugioh on my list.

Anything on my list that I watched as a kid, I went back and watched it as an adult. Hell, rewatching Dragonball for nostalgia is what got me into anime in the first place.

No, hence why I didn't mark Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon or Pokemon as complete. However, I did re-watch DBZ back around a year and a half ago, so that's on there.

I do.

I definitely saw all of DBZ on toonami. Not 100% on pokemon and yugioh, but I remember watching those two every saturday morning as a kid for a few years up till high school. I may have missed a few eps, but I'll be damned if I'll leave it off my list because of that :P

Yes...there is not any better choice if you forgot which episodes you watched and which you did not...
Dragon ball z...i even rewatched that one...

I did the same with Pokemon. I watched it every morning before school. I marked it as complete because unfortunately i did not sit down with a notepad at a young age and marked the ones i missed if i missed any at all. It was more....OH SHINY PIKACHU! O_O

I spent awhile considering whether to just put it on my list as complete or just leave it off because i don't know the full details but then i realized...who cares...Its really just on the list for Nostalgia reasons.

If you watched 1 episode a week for 3 years, that would only be half of DBZ.

Nope, which is why Pokemon, Naruto, DBZ and yugioh are nowhere to be found on my list. I know I didn't watch every episode, and I have no idea which episodes I missed.

No. I've changed too much to score them by how much I liked them back then and I don't remember them well enough to judge them all over. But by what I do remember, I think the only one I'd still like would be the original Dragonball.

I rewatched DBZ at least 2-3 times in its entirety when I was like 11-13. Pokemon and Yugioh I've seen tons of eps but not nearly enough to mark as completed. Dragonball is one where I watched at least 120+ eps but too lazy to actually finish it haha so I marked it as complete as well.

Actually, toonami aired new eps of DBZ every weekday at like 5pm. I remember since I watched it after school :P

It was pokemon and yugioh that were only once a week on saturday mornings on WB11 I believe.

Yes. I did for Yugioh and Pokemon since I know I watched most of it probably only missing a few episodes. As for DBZ I watch that fully once a year so there's no problem there.

Only thing that would count as an anime that I watched as a kid would be Moomins, and I'm pretty sure I've missed some eps, so right now I only have the movie in my list. I do plan to go over the series again and watch at least all the episodes I don't remember having watched.

I don't even remember what all I watched as a kid, so my list is only from about October 2010 (what I consider my 'official' introduction to anime)

Yes, though I remember everything from DBZ. Hardcore DBZ fan back in my noob years of anime.

G Gundam & Wing are still a little hazy. I'll have to re-watch them sometime in the future.

No. I used to watch Sailor Moon, Yu Yu Hakusho, Trigun, and Cowboy Bebop when I was younger, but I haven't marked them as complete since I know I haven't seen all their episodes.
Pokemon, DBZ, and InuYasha I have completed though.

I do depending on the anime. If know for a fact that I've watched all the episodes (Yu Yu Hakusho, Cardcaptor Sakura, etc.) then I mark it as completed. If I'm unsure about it and vaguely recall watching the whole thing, I don't (DBZ, Inuyasha, etc.)

Yes, I do. I only mark it if I'm 100% sure I finished it. Like, I know I watched all of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z (and regrettably GT) because I rewatched it like 2 years ago anyway. And Pokemon because I was a die hard Pokemon fan, so I know I finished them all. The movies I own on DVD and cassett. X3

I watched some of Pokemon/Digimon while a kid, but I not even marking them on my list. It'e either gonna be dropped which I don't think should count or On-Hold LOL but I don't plan to watch anytime soon. My tastes for them have changed, it wouldn't have been an anime I would watch now, So not adding them.

I do as long as I know I watched most of it. I don't see why not, they are a pat of my anime history and helped get me into anime, I don't see why I would ignore them just because I may have missed 1 in 15 of the episodes. I exclude shows that I only saw a bit of though like Naruto and Bleach.

Depends, the shows i remember i marked as completed. Since i was a 'cartoon geek' when i was younger i made sure i watched everything of every show i followed. Hurrying home after school, recording episodes .. yeah .. the good times.

I've seen Dragonball twice, Dragonball Z about 5-6 times and Dragonball GT at least 3 times. When they aired, when they re-aired, when i downloaded them couple of years later. Same with Pokemon, Digimon and some other shows.

If I have watched it, then yes. So that includes the dubbed DBZ and Moomin (1990 version). I am 99% sure I've seen all episodes of Moomin. At least I can still, to this day regocnize every storyline of each episode only seeing like a half minute if I happen to catch it airing on TV. DBZ I used to watch on TV in my late teens and I later rewatched the parts I thought I missed. So as far as the dubbed and cut version go, I'm sure I saw it all. Oh, and I actually watched Digimon Adventure from start to finish just two or three years back.
