| God damn it. I hate shaft and I hate Shinbo. Why the hell does a good novel have to be adapted into an anime by them? They already ruined a few good manga series that I enjoyed. |

But just that alone worries me. The only thing I have ever enjoyed even a little bit out of SHAFT was Madoka. Everything else I do not like one bit. I hate the animation style, the weird camera angles, and the strange story telling. It is not entertaining to me in the least. I find SHAFT anime more boring than anything else. |

Animation studios are hired by investors (TV stations, video distributors, music labels, other production committee members) to work on something the investors think might make some money. And the investors hire studios they 1) can get to work for a reasonable price and 2) think will do a good job for that price. This isn't Shaft "rubbing our faces in" anything. They've been an extremely prolific studio for a long time, not just recently. They're actually handling it better than they used to. They did Nisemonogatari at the start of the year. They've got two movies coming out this year and two more coming out next year and on top of that they have 3 anime series in production. That's a hell of a lot more than any other studio at the moment. Don't get me wrong. I really like SHAFT's work. It's just that the amount of shows they're working on at the moment is astronomical. More than they've ever had to do |

| Judging by chara designs I wanted to say that Red is mine but after watching this PV... Every girl is the best girl. Also, faceless sensei onii-chan. Dem seiyuus. Serious contender to AOTS. |

| Doesn't look too bad in terms of narrative and story, but being never able to get into SHAFT's artistic direction I think I'll be letting this one slide, unless I somehow decide to give them another shot. But I definitely see potential for this to gain at least a pretty good response (unless the story manages to completely flop on itself). |
