We get it SHAFT. Your the biggest animation studio in Japan at the moment. You don't need to rub it in our faces. I'm pretty sure we all figured that out when you announced that you were working on three high profile moves at the same time. I would ask how SHAFT gets the money for all these big projects but I'm pretty sure I've already answered my own question by mentioning Madoka |

| Sasami-san doesn't look too good from description still original creator is person which made also Kyouran Kazoku Nikki so it may be interesting Prism Nana on the other side... it will be adorable to see rise of hype and rage after if they go with "ordinary" magical girls show or milking-rage if they go Madoka-style either way fun :) |

That and Hidamari Sketch. Although Monogatari and Madoka are much higher sellers. I still can't exactly call any of them overrated though since both Bakemonogatari and Madoka are in my top 5 of all time |

Yeah, how dare that animation studio keep doing more work and staying in business. >_> See, they're not the ones bankrolling these projects. Animation studios are hired by investors (TV stations, video distributors, music labels, other production committee members) to work on something the investors think might make some money. And the investors hire studios they 1) can get to work for a reasonable price and 2) think will do a good job for that price. This isn't Shaft "rubbing our faces in" anything. They've been an extremely prolific studio for a long time, not just recently. They're actually handling it better than they used to. I hope people read this and realize that SHAFT as well as other studios are only involved in the animation and visual process. For the most part they have different writers for each project and most of the money a series earns goes to the people who funded the show in the first place. Shinbo is not swimming in cash, especially since he isn't even the main director for some of their recent series (Madoka and Bake/Nise come to mind). Anyway, it's best to wait for the staff before we determine what kind of show it will be. |
