No. It's dropped because it sucks and the anime should feel bad, not me.

It depends on the series. If it's something really popular for example.

Bad enough I don't see the fascination, but to dislike it/be bored with it enough to drop?

Other than that I don't feel bad when I drop a series, though I do think my dropped list could be smaller.

Although sometimes I drop it out of not having enough time.

No, not at all. I did feel kind of bad when I dropped Hellsing though, because I liked the series, but I heard that the OVA is 10x better, so I started watching the OVA.
...but when I drop a serie that sucks (in my opinion) or serie which is not as good as I expected, I don't have any remorse.

Well, sometimes.

I only dropped anime with the long episodes and seem to never reach the ending. The one like Naruto. I do feel bad actually..

I drop a lot of series at random, my drop list is probably only 1/4th or 2/5ths of my actual drop list. Removed a lot of titles because I didn't want it to be so huge.

I don't always drop them because I didn't enjoy them.

Depends on the anime. Sometimes I feel as though I've been defeated by the anime, such as Eiken, I would like to conquer this obstacle, but man, its just so bad. Other times, however, I feel good, like I've giving it my seal of failure so that it may join the ranks of its crappy brothers and sisters.

I've only dropped two, but I do kind of feel bad for the series, but not like how you think about how much effort they put into it, Actually it makes me wonder why I couldn't watch it where others could

I have never dropped a series since think all anime is good and no matter how bad the plot/effects of the anime are, it id disrespect to the manga writer :)

I felt pretty bad when I dropped Aria because I've seen a lot of positive reviews and comments about it. I actually tried to get back into it a few times but I could never last through the entire episode. I just wish I could appreciate the anime the way others could.

No, if I didn't enjoy it there is not reason for me to feel bad. It just does not appeal to me.

Yep I'll admit I'm a weird one. I seriously just don't like having a dropped anime list, perhaps its a bit of an OCD thing. I know dropping an anime I don't like is nothing to be worried about but it kind of nags at me to have an uncompleted series. Thankfully I have a very wide range of tastes and not very picky at all, so I actually very rarely even want to drop one in the first place. Out of the 160 titles I've seen, maybe 7-8 I've even considered dropping, and only one series I've dropped permanently so far.

Nope.. No regret whatsoever. It has to be absolutely unwatchable to a "slit wrist" degree for me to drop it, so the show deserves it.

Hagure Yuusha being the most recent one.

Not at all. Although, sometimes I might try it again.

So far, the only anime I liked after picking it back up is Samurai 7.

I feel good when I drop them and forget about them, it's just like taking a bath: I feel so clean, I dropped so many animes for years and can't even recall their names

I never drop any. I have yet to encounter an anime bad enough to make me give up halfway through.
If I expect an anime will be bad, I won't watch it in the first place.

If I get bored, I just put it on hold until I feel like watching that genre again. If it's on hold for too long, I'll probably start over.

There are shows like School Rumble that I'll probably never watch since I can't even make it 5 minutes in without thinking of something better that I could be watching instead.
If I can't even make it one or two episodes in, I won't bother listing it in the first place.

No.
I feel more bad about the time i wasted on the anime.
I could have spent that time watching something else.
It's been a while since i dropped something though.
Trying to finish everything i start. If it's bad, then i just take breaks between the episodes.

I only feel bad if i watched like 7 episodes - based on good reviews - and it totally and completely sucks. (waste of my time. grrr.)

I can think of a couple big name animes on this board but its just mean to mention them.

speaking of which i need to create a dropped list, but most the leftovers are on my external harddrive downstairs so i'd have to check (lazy)

Yeah, I always do, no matter what it is.

Part of me goes, "I could finish this if I really, really wanted to dedicate the time!"

The other part of me goes, "Look at your plan to watch list. Do you see how endless this thing is? You just keep adding more titles to it! Wouldn't you rather waste that time on something actually enjoyable? Watch something you're actually interested in watching! Who cares if you didn't enjoy it? You don't have to like everything and you don't have to watch everything." This is the side that usually wins, because it makes the most logical sense.

Haters gonna hate on me for not completing whatever series they loved and found to be one of their absolute favorites, but I'm not them, and therefore, it doesn't matter to me. It's a bummer when I see one of my favorites on someone's dropped list, but hey, that's their choice to make: it's their opinion, at least they gave it a try, and I respect that.

A little, to be honest. I feel disappointed that it doesn't meet my standards enough for me to keep on watching it.
That may be just my completionist nature there, though.

Yes. It means I can never go back to watching it again because I forgot the overall story.

Or...I feel bad because I wasted my time on it.

Only if it's something that a lot of other people enjoy because then it just makes me feel like I'm missing something. Also if it's a long running series you watched a bunch of episodes of but got bored of like Bleach.

on some I do feel bad but some is just upright terrible. You always want to
give the maker of the anime credit even if you drop it or don't like it.

I don't drop much cause I only start watching somethng that pass my standards and I think I'll like. Unless it really terrible and boring, I would carry on to the end. Animes I dropped are just random animes I happened to watch on TV. I don't feel bad at all, if I drop, cause its not to my taste. Any more random, and I not even putting on my list XDDD

No. The creators should feel bad for making a series so bad I wanted to drop it.

Though I do feel a bit sorry for the animators, odds are high they were on it just to eat. But they did get their paychecks all the same.

A little, because I know I've probably completed equally bad or worse. The series may have just come to me at the wrong time, so it's "unlucky" in that sense. It is refreshing to move onto something more intriguing though, that's what it's all about after all.

I'm sure most people are being honest, but I still get the feeling that not feeling bad is the go to "cool" response for this question. Some people may just be jumping on that.
