Eehh? Why has this show to kill off cute girls? To me it seems kinda forced to make the viewer more emotional or something but it's not nice that they killed both Sachi and Yoruko. I actually wanted to see some more bit of crazy Yoruko as well and see how it would develop but apparently the author didn't want that.

Sword Ass Online? So did people go mad to start doing PKs or were people mad to begin with? Like serial killers playing games. The sleep PK method is kinda cheap. They could easily transfer all their items and equips. But I guess we need drama. If it was just stealing it wouldn't be this "big".

But wait, how can a player fall asleep in a game? I mean, there is rest as in wait for your hp to recover, but this was just dull. Same goes for the eating and drinking. I guess food gives some minor boosts that were never mentioned, because it'd be stupid.

The world is pretty dang close to perfect reality simulation, you get tired, you get hungry.

The nerve gear detects when you are fufilling those needs, and sends signals to the brain saying "hey! you just ate! you aren't hungry anymore!"

I don't exactly remember about being hungry, but in essence, you don't HAVE to eat, it's just uncomfortable walking around hungry all of the time.

I was thinking that she was the one behind the murder and yet she dies. What's with this game and the murder of cute girls?

Yay for having Asuna back in the spotlight :D She looked so cute when she was sleeping on the grass!

The whole deal about player killing in safe zones is pretty creepy, though it gives the show a more serious edge. I'm curious as to how it's done.

The ass shots were insulting to my intelligence xD

And the girl's psycho break down was a bit... efff to me. Not really carried out too well.

This was a bit more of a standard fare compared to the last episode. There wasn't any important character development (unless you count more cute moments with yet another cute girl as character development) and there wasn't any great action either, but the details about being PK'd were quite nice additions to the universe. The mystery of this story could be pretty entertaining to see revealed, but the cliffhanger felt a little melodramatic. Unless the reveal links to the overall story somehow, this is a simply another side story being extended unnecessarily into a two parter.

SAO needs to seriously stop killing off characters the episode they're introduced as well. It's getting a little irritating. 6/10.

MEH.....first episode which I was not impressed by.

Found it rather boring TBH.

The only good thing that came out of this was Asuna's return.

I liked this episodes. The story finally stops jumping from one story to another. We finally have a somewhat conclusive profile of the main characters, and are dying to know where all this is going to.

=D

my opinion of Asuna after this episode: Tsun-tsundere tsundere tsun-tsun. Also i hope that at some point they give PK's in the game proper motivation. Really how many psycho's could've gotten stuck in the game?

Nice episode! I kinda wish there was more of an over-spanning arc though - the episodes happen so far apart in the timeline we don't get to see many of the developments between characters.

Still, it's pretty early.

Apparently the light novel is a lot better than the anime... But besides the fan service episodes, I think the series is pretty good.

Eh, I'm not a big fan of mystery kind of episodes.
I'm glad Asuna's back though, and the end, WTF!

I don't see how you couldn't considering how in your face they were.

A decent episode though I can't say I find this particularly interesting. Well, I like the info on player kills and so on.

I couldn't help but be confused by this episode.

Why would someone be after the people who opposed selling the ring? Why would these people be revenge-worthy? She would be alive had she not gone to sell the ring...

Even Kirito mentions "the most suspicious ones would be those who opposed selling it"
and yet we find out that none of them had anything to do with it.

Whats this about letting Griselda decide? She had to decide whether to sell the ring or not and obviously decided to sell it along with Grimrock.

I've never been really good with mysteries. I'll just watch the next episode and not give it much thought :P

Asuna returns! She's climbed up to Vice-Commander too, brilliant.

Town-PK? It's getting interesting, especially with the investigation, and the over the top facial expressions and screams that you would see in Higurashi lol. The ending was expected, but still awesome.

Oh yeah, Agil is a BRO.

I guess I shouldn't read the comments here anymore since there are so many spoilers. I thought it was purple hair but I guess not since she died. I wonder who it will be.

Just saw this episode, and i have a quick question for everyone who is seeing this show. Will the show always be this damn rushed? I mean, its only 5 episode in but he is already like level 80 and on floor 58. He will have competed the game in another 5 episodes.. >_<

This annoys me becuse i miss so much story, and its a huge waste of potential..

Yes, it'll continue to be stupidly fast til level... 80 something ish. As that's how the book is written. (Pretty much level 70+ very early on, and all those Sachi/Silica, where he's level 25~60 are just extra material from volume 2)

Huge waste of potential? Yup, that pretty much summed up my view on SAO too.

Didn't expect a detective story. Not bad though, but a feels a little over the top.

The relationship building between Asuna and Kirito is interesting so far.

Lol at all the ass shots :D

well, that's pretty dirty. Fight head-on like a real man instead of freaking assasin techniques.

not complaining here.

aside from that, this episode actually had me shaking, i was kind of scared the whole time that the murderer would jump out behind them, and alas, they did. i saw that girl dying from a mile away, especially when she started walking towards the open window, i was like a black guy at a horror film. "I told you not to go towards the window bitch!"
